A reflection on patience

Reflections for the day

Isaiah 30:18

Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.

Blessed are all who wait for him!

John 2:4

“Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”

Before you start your day, have a quiet time with the Lord. Commit to the Lord Jesus whatever you do and your plans will succeed, each in his own time.

Prayer is not getting man’s will done in heaven, but getting God’s will done on earth. It is not overcoming God’s reluctance but laying hold of God’s willingness.”
Richard C. Trench

A reflection on patience

Heavenly Father,

Thou art the creator of thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all things known to Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by Mankind. Thou art almighty and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou, and we exalt thou for thou power, and for thou mightiness. We acknowledge that all things are created for a purpose, and we acknowledge that all things are created with a purpose. We acknowledge that all things occur in thou own good time.

Heavenly Father, thou art Our Heavenly Father, who knows all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father, who sees all, and thou hath possession  of all thou facts. We acknowledge that thou purpose for Mankind is of one to draw closer to thou, and we acknowledge that thou purpose for Mankind is for Mankind to emulate a life that was led by thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we acknowledge that all good things happen to those who can live a life that can be described as godly.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that many live a life that can be described as a life that is lived at a fast pace. Many are impatient, and an impatience is one that does not allow some to see thou vision for all.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for Mankind to be more leisurely in an outlook on life, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for Mankind to be more patient.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide Mankind in a daily life, and we ask thou to help many to see that patience is a virtue.

Heavenly Father, thou  desire is for Mankind to place a trust in thou. Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that there are occasions when many desire for thou intervention, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou intervention is one that is circumspect, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou intervention is one that requires a patience to be born, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou intervention is one that requires a need for all to be calm, at times. Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou concern is that we turn to thou always, and thou concern is that Mankind treads a path that is one that is straight and narrow, toward  thou light which as eternal.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we ask thou to bless the works of all charities that function in thou name, and we ask thou to bless the works of all churches that uphold thou name, and we ask thou to provide a  number of opportunities before all charities, and we ask thou to place a number of opportunities before all churches, so that many will turn to thou.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that many desire to draw closer to thou, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that many desire to deepen a faith of thou, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that many desire to renew a trust, and a faith, and a belief, in thou.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that many will reflect upon a trust of thou, and we hope and we pray that many will reflect upon a faith of thou, and we hope and we pray that many will reflect upon a belief of thou, and we hope and we pray that many will turn to thou.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who lives within Man, and who dwells amongst Man, and who advocates for Man, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on promise

Reflections for the day

2 Peter 1:4

And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

A reflection on promise

Heavenly Father,

It is at this time of Lent we reflect upon the ministry of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we reflect upon the nature of a faith of yourself, Our Heavenly Father. We are able to see in a way that is clear that the ministry of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, was one that was shaped by a trust in the power of all promises of yourself, and that your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, was able to minister, knowing that you had empowered your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, with a faith, and with a trust, and with a belief, in all that is of you, Our Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that we are able to see in a way that is clear that all promises that you have made to Mankind in your Scriptures. We acknowledge that you have supplied, and will supply all needs, and all needs are ones that can be described as the love that you have for all Mankind, and a salvation that there is for all Mankind through your Son, Our Saviour, Our Lord Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that there is a provision for all salvation by your grace through a faith of you, and that there is a victory over death through your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who died upon a cross for all Mankind, to show all the way to you, and to guide all of Mankind to seek out a forgiveness for all sin.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many have a belief  in your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and that through the forgiveness of sin all will be able to draw closer to you. We acknowledge that a promise is that all things work together for all good for those who love, and for those who serve you, in a way that is faithful, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that for some there is a difficulty in perceiving, and in discerning, how this can be accomplished at times.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that you have given all Mankind an opportunity to have a life that is eternal with you if  a self turns to you, and if a self proffers a sorrow for the error of a way, and incurs a  change in a life that is necessary.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that many at one time or another make a promise which is kept, and we are able to see in a way that is clear for some a promise is one that is broken. We are able to see in a way that is clear that a promise that is broken may be, and has been for a reason, and a reason may be, and has been one of forgetfulness, and may be, and has been for a reason of negligence, and may be, and has been for a reason where there is a change of mind, and may be, and has been for a reason where there is a change in circumstance which is beyond a control.

Heavenly Father, we ask you for a guidance in a daily life, and we ask your help in making a promise only when there is  an ability to keep it, and we ask you to guide us to always show a willingness to do your will.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we hope and we pray that those who hold a high office in this country are able to reflect carefully on a number of promises that have been made in order to manage an affair of this country, and we ask you to provide an number of opportunities before those in a high office to address a concern that there is at this present time over an influence suggested by some, and we hope and we pray that many will reflect carefully and make the changes that are necessary to resolve an issue for which many are concerned about.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many desire to be an obedient servant  of you but fall short in an expectation that is yours, and we acknowledge that many desire to lay down a life for you but are at times reluctant, and we acknowledge that many desire to do your will but are at times rebellious.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that Mankind will turn to you for a guidance in a daily life, and we hope and we pray that through the example of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, many are able to keep a promise that is made.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to yourself, Our Heavenly Father, all that has been said in the name of yourself, Our Heavenly Father, and in the name of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with your Holy Spirit, is the Redeemer and is the Saviour for all Mankind, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on safe haven

Reflections of the day

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

At night when you can’t sleep,
don’t count sheep – talk to the Shepherd.

“The essence of prayer does not consist in asking God for something but in opening our hearts to God, in speaking with Him, and living with Him in perpetual communion. Prayer is a continual abandonment to God. Prayer does not mean asking God for all kinds of things we want; it is rather the desire for God Himself, the only Giver of Life, Prayer is not asking, but union with God. Prayer is not a painful effort to gain from God help in the varying needs of our lives. Prayer is the desire to possess God Himself, the Source of all life. The true spirit of prayer does not consist in asking for blessings, but in receiving Him who is the giver of all blessings, and in living a life of fellowship with Him.” Sadhu Sundar Singh

A reflection upon safe haven

Heavenly Father,

Thou art the creator of thou world that we live in, and thou art creator of all things known to Mankind, and thou art creator of all things unseen by Mankind. Thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou for thou power, and we praise thou for thou mightiness.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that all things are possible through thou if there is a faith and if there is an understanding of thou. Thou art a loving Father, and thou art a compassionate Father, who loves each and every one of us. We acknowledge that thou love for Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and thou love for Mankind is one that is not bound by words, and thou love for Mankind is one that is not bound by energy, and thou love for Mankind is one that is not bound by time. We acknowledge thou love for Mankind allows Mankind  to love thou with all of a heart, and to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength. We acknowledge thou love for all is one that over-spills into a relationship, and is one that allows all to love thou neighbour.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time of Lent we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, cares for all Mankind, and has a love for all Mankind, and a care for all Mankind, and a love for all Mankind, is revealed in thou Scriptures as a care and as a love a Shepherd has for a sheep.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, revealed to all Mankind in thou Scriptures that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is able to provide a safe haven for all, and a safe haven for all is one that guides all to remain on thou path which is a path that is straight, and which is a path that is narrow, toward thou light which is eternal. We are able to see in a way that is clear that a safe haven is one that guides all to turn a back on evil, and there is a provision for all, if all choose thou way to thou through the proffering of a sin in sorrow, and with a will to incur a change in a life that is necessary, in order to reflect a repentance for a sin that has been committed.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that the care and the love given by thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is one that is nurturing, and that this is a nurturing that is one that is of a nourishment that is spiritual, and a nourishment that is spiritual is one that is available for all Mankind  through the proffering of a prayer that is proffered on a basis that is daily, and is on a basis that is regular, and through the reading of thou Scriptures, which is read on a basis that is daily, in order to perceive, and in order to discern, thou thoughts of thouself, Our Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all in a daily life, and we ask thou to guide all to bring to thouself in prayer, a worry, and a concern. We are thankful that thou cares for all Mankind, and we are thankful that thou love is for all Mankind, and thou love for all Mankind is one that is likened to that of a Shepherd who cares for all of a flock, and we are thankful that through prayer, and through a study of thou Scriptures, that many are able to be uplifted in a way that is described as spiritual.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we bring to you thou people who are held against a will. We ask at this time that thou people are able to draw a comfort by thou presence. It is at this time we uphold to thou the family known as Nubbitt who are a family who have endured much in the past six months, and we ask thou to comfort and strengthen the family known as Nubbit as there is a need to come to terms with an event that has happened.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that all Mankind has a freedom of will, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that all of what happens in thou world is due to a freedom of will. We hope and we pray that Mankind will reflect carefully upon the error of a way, and we hope and we pray that many will say sorry for an error of a way, and we hope and we pray that all will repent.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and with thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, reigns on most high, and is, and was, and always will be, the most supreme, and the most absolute power and being, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on praise and worship

Reflections of the day

“O Lord, I will always sing of your constant love;

I will proclaim your faithfulness for ever.

I know that your love will last for all time,

That your faithfulness is as permanent as the sky.”

Psalm 89: 1-2

“Through him, then, let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.”

Hebrews 13: 15

A reflection on praise and worship

Heavenly Father,

Thou art the creator of all things in thou world. Thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we exalt thou for thou power, and we glorify thou for thou mightiness. Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear from thou Scriptures that thou brought praise into existence and made it holy. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou hath granted a revelation of thou self in thou wonders of thou nature, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that from nature there can be perceived, and there can be discerned, thou power and thou might, and and we are able to see in a way that is clear that from nature there can be perceived, and there can be discerned, thou beauty which transcends, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that from nature there can be perceived, and there can be discerned, thou  wisdom which is infinite.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that in thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, we are able to see in a way that is clear thou glory, and we are able to see in a way that is clear a fullness of thou Deity resides in thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. We acknowledge through thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, all Mankind are able to come to thou, and are able to worship thou.

Heavenly Father, thou art worthy of praise at all times, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that by praising thou, and by worshipping thou, it brings a sense of a self into thou presence. Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that all praise, and all worship of thou, is one that will empower a faith of thou. We are thankful that we able to perceive, and we are thankful that we are able to discern thou blessings in an act of praise, and in an act of worship.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear from thou Scriptures that there is a need to worship thou in a fullness of spirit, and in a fullness of truth. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Holy Spirit is able to advocate for many, and is able to direct many into a place of worship that is spiritual. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Holy Spirit can intercede for many, and allow a heart, and allow a mind, to be one that is illumined with love. We are thankful that through thou Holy Spirit all can be inspired at a time of worship of thou.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that there is a need to honour thou, and that there is a need to honour thou word. We acknowledge that all praise, and all worship of thou, must be one of respect, and one of reverence. We are able to see in a way that is clear that there is a need to praise thou at all times, and that there is a need to praise thou at a time when some are unable to feel thou presence. We are able to see in a way that is clear that by praising thou many can endure a time when a heart is one that is filled with a sorrow, and that thou art able to comfort many so that many will feel a desire to be led to thou full glory.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many can worship thou through a prayer, and we acknowledge that many can worship thou by telling another of thou works which are good. We are able to see in a way that is clear that there is a need to honour thou with a word that is spake, which is a word that are is in alignment with thou Scriptures.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou word, and a prayer, allows thou power to work for the good of all. We acknowledge that a praise of thou allows thou power to continue to work, and we acknowledge that a praise of thou will bring a manifestation of thou Holy Spirit, and a manifestation of thou power, which is good, and which is great.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou psalms are songs that express the fullness of a human emotion, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou psalms are songs of a heart that mirrors an experience that is human. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou psalms speak for all Mankind, and that many of thou psalms magnify thou name.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide many in a study of thou psalms, and we ask  thou Holy Spirit can direct many to praise thou for all thou hath done in a life, and we ask thou to guide many to glorify thou name in a way that is fitting, and in a way that is with reverence, and with awe.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that to be whole there is a need to express a self in a way that is right at a time of prayer. Heavenly Father, we ask  thou to guide many to be willing, and we ask thou to guide many to be able to express a thought, and to be able to express an emotion, and to be able to uphold thou in praise always.

Heavenly Father, we are thankful that through thou Holy Spirit many are able to feel uplifted, and many are able to feel thou presence, and many are able to feel nourished in a way that is spiritual. Heavenly Father, it is at this time we uphold to thou all who are unable to express a praise for thou.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that many who are Christians feel a need that is ignored, and that many who are Christians feel less than valued. Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that Mankind will reflect carefully upon the nature of Christianity, and we hope and we pray that Mankind will see a need of another who is a Christian, and who has a desire to be accepted.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with thou Holy Spirit, lives within Man, and dwells amongst Man, and advocates for Man, now and always for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on being a witness to Christianity

Reflections for the day

You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp put it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5: 14-16

If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow him. For those who want to save their life will lose it and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel will save it.

Mark 8: 34

We waste most of our time trying to get God to do something He has already done—or praying for God to do something He told us to do. –Jacquelyn K. Heasley

A reflection on being a witness for Christianity

Heavenly Father,

It is at this time we reflect upon the ministry of your son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. We are able to see in a way that is clear that your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, revealed to all Mankind a purpose of a ministry was to fulfil a law and to uphold a word spoken by a prophet. We are able to see in a way that is clear that your Sermon on the Mount defined the role of a Christian. We are able to see in a way that is clear that your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, decreed there is a need to proclaim the word that is of yours. We are able to see in a way that is clear that your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, commanded your disciple Peter, to build your church which upholds your name on a foundation that is secure.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, spoke of a city built on a hill that cannot be hid. We acknowledge that you call all Mankind to be what is described as the light of your world, and the light of your world is one that reflects the glory of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and a light such as this is one that reveals to all Mankind the love that is there for all.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that a work that is good will be seen by another, and a work that is good is one that will glorify yourself. Heavenly Father, your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, came into your world in order to save all Mankind from sin, and in order to show all the way to you, and a truth that is yours, and a life with yourself which is eternal.

Heavenly Father, we ask you to guide all Mankind in a daily life. We are able to see in a way that is clear that an attendance at church that is regular on a basis that is weekly, and a prayer that is proffered on a basis that is daily and throughout the day, will allow a self to be nourished in a way that is spiritual. Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that your Church is a landmark in a way that is spiritual, and in a way that is physical, and we acknowledge that an attendance at your Church on a basis that is weekly will allow all Mankind to be able to perceive, and to be able to discern, that is a desire of yourself, Our Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that much has been said in the media about a practice of Christianity, and about an observance of a Christian Faith. We are able to see in a way that is clear that many desire for a practice of the Christian Faith to be visible. Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that to follow your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, all must deny much that is in your world that we live in, and that to gain a life that is eternal with your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, there is a need to put aside all that is worldly that is abhorrent to you.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that a symbol of the cross is one which upholds all of a faith of Christianity, and is a symbol that is fitting, and is a symbol which reminds many that your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, died upon a cross, in order to save all Mankind from sin, and in order to show all Mankind the way to you, and in order for a forgiveness to be made if a sorrow for a sin is proffered and a will is evident to incur a change in a life that is necessary.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many desire to show all a difference your Son, Our Jesus Christ, makes in a life. We hope and we pray that many will desire to uphold your name in a way that is fitting. We hope and we pray that all Mankind will reflect carefully upon the teachings of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and is able to see your purpose in a life.

Heavenly Father, we uphold all that has been said in the name of yourself, Our Heavenly Father, who together with your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and your Holy Spirit, is a redeemer of all sin, and sitteth on the right side of you, Our Heavenly Father, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.
