A reflection on thou coming of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ

Reflections of the day

Isaiah 7 v 14

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

A reflection on thou coming of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ

Heavenly Father,

We acknowledge all that is spake of thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in thou Scriptures, in all passages that are of thou prophet Isaiah, which is recorded in thou Old Testament of thou Scriptures.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou coming of thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, is a time of joy and is a time of praise from all who profess to have a faith of thou as a Christian.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is born of thou Virgin Mary who conceived through what is described as a conception that was immaculate and was of thou Holy Spirit. We acknowledge that thou Virgin Mary was visited by thou angel Gabriel who was able to guide thou Virgin Mary in what to spake, and in what had to be done, in order for another to be able to see a way forward in a way that was clear that all things are possible through thouself, Our Heavenly Father, if there is a faith, and if there is an understanding of thou, and that all things happen in accordance with one, and in a time that is of a time that is a good time of thouself.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that despite thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, being sent into thou world as a babe who was and who is described as helpless, and who was and who is described as a babe who was vunerable, many are unable to see a way forward in a way that is clear that a time of Christmas is of one to celebrate the birth of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who came into thou world to save all of Mankind from all sins, and to show all of Mankind thou way, and to show all of Mankind thou truth that is of thouself, and to show all of Mankind thou life, which is a life that is eternal with thou, and to guide all of Mankind to live a life of a self in a manner, and in a way, that is desired by thou.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that many will reflect upon thou truth that is of thouself at thou time of Christmas, and we hope and we pray that many will reflect upon thou life that is eternal with thou, which is a life that is worth having for all of Mankind, and is a life that is meaningful, and is a life that will mean experiencing thou love that thou hath for each and every one of us, which is thou love that is all encompassing, and is thou love that is not bound by words, and is thou love that is not bound by time, and is thou love that is not bound by energy.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life of a self that is lived daily, and we ask thou to guide many to be able to see a way forward in a way that is clear that a life eternal with thouself, Our Heavenly Father, is a life that will mean a separation from another who has turned a back upon thouself, and that a separation from a loved one is of a making, and is of a choice of a self, as it is, and it was, and it will always be, thou desire for all of Mankind to see a way forward in a way that is clear that a life of a self on thou Earth that we all live on has only one purpose and that is to turn a back upon all that is sinful, and to lead a life of a self that is righteous.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, who together with thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and with thou Holy Spirit, reigns on most high, and is, and was, and will always be, the most supreme, and the most absolute power and being, that governs over all who are of thou Heavens, and who governs over all who are of thou Earth that we all live on, now and always, for evermore.

Amen

A reflection on those who have disabilities

Reflections for the day

Philippians 3:12-14

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

“If you want that splendid power in prayer, you must remain in loving, living, lasting, conscious, practical, abiding union with the Lord Jesus Christ.”

C. H. Spurgeon

A reflection on those that have disabilities

Heavenly Father,

We are thankful that you are  able to guide all Mankind to see a way forward in a way that is clear that those that have what is described as a disability are able to make a success with a life.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that the games known as the Paralympic Games are ones that have been able to uphold many who have made a success of a life, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that the Paralympic Games are ones that have been able to uphold many who have made a success of a life in a way that has shown that those who have a disability can be as successful as those who do not have a disability.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that there will be a time in the future when your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, will judge both the quick and the dead, and that this judgement will be for all of Mankind. We are able to see in a way that is clear that in order for all Mankind to be at one with you, Our Heavenly Father, and in order for all Mankind to be at one with your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and in order for all Mankind to be at one with your Holy Spirit, there is a need to separate a self from all that is sinful.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that in order for all Mankind to separate a self from all that is sinful that there is a need to know, and there is a need to understand, what is less than desirable.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that there are many references in your Scriptures which are ones that describe what is commonly known as a sin, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that the many references that there are in your Scriptures, are ones that decree that there will be a separation from a dearly departed loved one if a self is unable to separate from all that is sinful.

Heavenly Father, a separation from a dearly departed loved one would mean a time of sorrow, and a time of despair, and a time of helplessness.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that in order for Mankind to separate a self from all that is sinful there is a need to have a courage, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that in order for Mankind to separate a self from all that is sinful there is a need to have a determination, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that in order for Mankind to separate a self from all that is sinful there is a need to be able to endure.

Heavenly Father, there are many who are able to see in a way that is clear that those who have a disability, and those who have been a competitor of the games known as the Paralympic Games, are ones who have a courage, and are ones who have a determination, and are ones who are able to endure.

Heavenly Father, many  will desire at a time in the future to be your obedient servant, and many will desire at a time in the future to lay down a life for you. Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that there will be a reluctance, at times, to be your obedient servant, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that there will be a reluctance, at times, to be ready to do your will.

Heavenly Father, we ask you to help all Mankind to address all areas in a life of a self that are ones that are of a nature that is sinful, and we ask you to guide a self to say sorry for an error of a way, and we ask you to guide a self to make a change in a life that is necessary, in order for a self to be at one with you, and we ask you to guide a self to make a change in a life that is necessary, in order for a self to be at one with your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we ask you to guide a self to make a change in a life that is necessary, in order for a self to be at one with your Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, much in a life is one that can be described as sinful, and much in your world is one that can be described as sinful, and many in your world is likely to do what is described as turn a back on you, and many will do what is described as remain in sin.

Heavenly Father, there will be a time in the future when each and every one of us will be made accountable for a life led in your world, and it will be at this time that we will be judged by your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. The judgement by your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is likely to be one that will occur at a time when we leave this Earthly place, and is one that is likely to be one that will separate all who are at one with you, from all who have turned a back on you.

Heavenly Father, many desire to be at one with you but know that there are a number of difficulties that will need to be overcome. Many desire to be at one with your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, but know that there are a number of difficulties that will need to be overcome. Many desire to be at one with your Holy Spirit but know that there are a number of difficulties that will need to be overcome.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many will have seen that a competitor of the Paralympic games has done what is described as overcome a number of difficulties, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that many have been able to succeed in what has been done, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that many have been uplifted by the games known as the Paralympic Games, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that many have been uplifted by the games known as the Olympic Games, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that a self is able to be uplifted at a time when a self is at one with you.

Heavenly Father, in order for all to be uplifted in the way that many have been uplifted by the Paralympic Games, and by the Olympic Games, there is a need to draw closer to you, and there is need to place a worry, and there is a need to place a concern with you.

Heavenly Father, many desire to be uplifted in the way that many have been uplifted by the Paralympic Games, and by the Olympic Games, and in order to be uplifted in a way that can be described as meaningful, there is a need to leave behind all that is sinful, and there is a need to turn to you.

Heavenly Father, we uphold all that has been said to yourself, Our Heavenly Father, in the name of yourself, Our Heavenly Father, and in the name of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the way, and who is the truth, and who is the life, and is the way to you, and we uphold all that has been said in the name of your Holy Spirit, who lives within Man, and who dwells amongst Man, and who advocates for Man, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on sacrifice

Reflections for the day

John 14:15-21

“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Matthew 18:1-3

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

A reflection on sacrifice

Heavenly Father,

We are thankful that thou art almighty, and we are thankful that thou art most powerful, and we praise thou for thou power, and we praise thou for thou mightiness, and we raise thou name on high to thou.

Heavenly Father, thou sent thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, into thou world to save Mankind from all sin. We acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, died upon a cross, and we acknowledge that the death of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, upon a cross was one that can be described as one that epitomises sacrifice, and the sacrifice is one that was made for all Mankind.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is at one with thou, and we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is at one with thou Holy Spirit, and we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is able to be at one with all, if all are able to turn a back upon a sin, and draw nearer to thou.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that in order for Mankind to be at one with thou that there is a need to address all areas of concern that there are in a life of a self that causes a self to turn a back on thou.

Heavenly Father, there are times in a life of a self when a self can be tempted, and there are times in a life of a self when a self may desire a thing of the flesh, and there are times in a life of a self when a self is unable to see a way forward in a way that is clear an area of concern that needs to be addressed.

Heavenly Father, much of what happens in a life of a self is for some less than desirable, and much of what happens in a life of a self is for some a cause of concern, and much of what happens in a life of a self can cause a self to doubt, and much of what happens in a life of a self means a self is unable to be at one with thou.

Heavenly Father, there will be a time in the future when many will desire to be thou obedient servant, and there will be a time in the future when many will desire to lay down a life for thou. We acknowledge that in order to be at one with thou, a self will need to lay down a life for thou, and we acknowledge that in order to lay down a life for thou, a self will need to make what is considered to be a sacrifice.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that for much of the time a self is unable to see a way forward  in a way that is clear what a self needs to do in order to lay down a life for thou, and much of the time a self is unable to see a way forward in a way that is clear a sacrifice that a self needs to make is one that can be described as a desire of the flesh, and much of the time a self is unable to see a way forward in a way that is clear a sacrifice that a self needs to make is one that can be described as one that relate to a worldly possession, and much of the time a self is unable to see a way forward in a way that is clear a sacrifice that a self needs to make is one that can be described as one that relates to a temptation of thou world that Mankind lives in.

Heavenly Father, there will be a time in the future when all of Mankind will be judged for a life that was led, and there will be a time in the future when all of Mankind will be expected to say sorry for the error of a way, and there will be a time in the future when all of Mankind will be expected to make the changes that are necessary in a life of a self, in order to be at one with thou.

Heavenly Father, much of the changes that are necessary in a life of a self are ones where a self will need to make a sacrifice in order to be at one with thou, and much of the changes that are necessary in a life of a self are ones that will cause a self to be separated from a life that was led in terms of turning a back on all that is sinful, and in terms of turning a back upon a relationship with another that is less than desirable in the eyes of thou, Our Heavenly Father, and much of the changes that are necessary in a life of a self are ones that will cause a difficulty with a loved one.

Heavenly Father, there will be a time in the future when many will desire to be at one with thou, and there will be a time in the future when many will desire to be at one with thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and there will be a time in the future when many will desire to be at one with thou Holy Spirit, and there will be a time in the future when many will desire to be united with a loved one that has departed for thou place known as thou Heavenly place.

Heavenly Father, there are a number of passages in thou Scriptures which are ones that describe that there will be a separation from thou, Our Heavenly Father, and there are a number of passages in thou Scriptures which are ones that describe that there will be a separation from thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and there are a number of passages in thou Scriptures which are ones that describe that there will be a separation from thou Holy Spirit, and there are a number of passages in thou Scriptures which are ones that describe a separation from a loved one if a self is unable to be at one with thou.

Heavenly Father, there will be a time in the future when thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, will return to thou world in order to judge all of Mankind, and there will be a time in the future when thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, will be upheld as thou Saviour and will be upheld as thou Redeemer of all sin, and there will be a time in the future when many will see the error of a way, and will say sorry for the error of a way, and will repent for the error of a way.

Heavenly Father, many need to be more able, and many need to be more willing to turn to thou, and many need to be more able, and many need to be more willing to turn a back on thou world that doth lead a self astray, and many need to be more able, and many need to be more willing to make a sacrifice that is needed, in order for a self to be at one with thou.

Heavenly Father, there will be a time in the future when many will desire thou to guide a self in a life, and there will be a time in the future when many will desire thou to help a self to recognise the error of a way, and there will be a time in the future when many will desire thou to help a self to say sorry for the error of a way, and there will be a time in the future when many  will desire thou to help a self to draw closer to thou.

Heavenly Father, we uphold all that hath been spake, in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is thou way, and who is thou truth, and who is thou life, and who is thou way to thou, and we uphold all that hath been spake in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who lives within Man, and who dwells amongst Man, and who advocates for Man, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on what is described as designer babies with reference to Thou Sanctity of Life

Reflections for the day

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers, pray for powers equal to your task.

Phillips Brooks

A reflection on what is described as designer babies with reference to Thou Sanctity of Life

Heavenly Father,

Thou art Our heavenly Father who is loving, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is compassionate, and thou loves each and every one of us. Thou love for Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and thou love for Mankind is one that is eternal, and thou love for Mankind is one that endures. Thou love for Mankind is one that is not bound by words, and thou love for Mankind is one that is not bound by time, and thou love for Mankind is one that is not bound by energy. Thou love for Mankind is one that enables all to love thou with all of a heart, and to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength. Thou love for Mankind is one that overspills into a relationship, and thou love for Mankind is one that enables all to love thou neighbour in thou way that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, loves all of Mankind.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of what is described as a design to change a makeup of Mankind, that is one that can be described as the genetic makeup of Mankind. We are able to see in a way that is clear that much has been said in the media about what is described as a design to change a makeup of Mankind, that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Mankind, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that much has been said in the media about what is described as a research into a way of making a change of one that is described as the makeup of Mankind, that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Mankind. We are able to see in a way that is clear that there are some who desire that the makeup of Mankind, that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Mankind, is one that should be changed in order that a characteristic of Mankind, that is desirable, is one that can be present in Mankind, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that there are some who desire that the makeup of Mankind, that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Mankind, is one that should be changed in order that a characteristic of Mankind, that is less than desirable, is one that can be omitted from all of Mankind.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that an issue of a change to the makeup of Mankind, that is described as the genetic makeup of Mankind, is an issue that some are concerned about, and is one that is a concern that is of a nature known as Thou Sanctity of Life.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou art the creator of thou world that we live in, and we acknowledge that thou hath created all things known to Mankind, and we acknowledge that thou hath created all things unseen by Mankind. We acknowledge that  thou hath created all Mankind to be equal in thou eyes.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that all Mankind has sinned ,and we acknowledge that a life of a self is one that cannot be described as without sin, and we acknowledge that thou art perfect. We acknowledge that thou have a plan for each and every one of us, and we acknowledge that a number of events that  have happened in a life of a self are events that may have happened for a reason, and we acknowledge that all things happen in thou own good time.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou plan for all Mankind is one where thou hath bestowed upon all of Mankind a gift of a freedom of will, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to turn to thou, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to tread a path, which is a path that is straight, and to tread a path, which is a path that is narrow, toward thou light which is eternal.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that each and every one of us is loved by thouself, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that each and every one of us is able to turn to thou through thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for all Mankind, in order to redeem all of Mankind from all sin, and to show all of Mankind thou way to thou.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind to see the error of a way, and we ask thou to guide all of Mankind to say sorry for the error of a way, and we ask thou to guide all of Mankind to make the changes that are necessary in a life of a self in order for many to remain upon thou path, which is a path that is straight, and which is a path that is narrow, toward thou light which is eternal.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many believe that all things are possible through thou if there is a faith, and if there is a trust, and if there is a belief of thou. We ask thou to guide all of Mankind to be able to perceive, and to be able to discern, that all of Mankind live a life for a purpose, irrespective of what is described by some as a flaw in a nature, and irrespective of what is described by some as a flaw in an appearance, and irrespective of what is described by some as a flaw in a make-up that is one that is genetic.

Heavenly Father, we uphold all that has been spake to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is thou way, and who is thou truth, and who is thou life, and is thou way to thou, and we uphold all that has been spake, in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who lives within Man, and who dwells amongst Man, and who advocates for Man, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on thou Church (attendance and offertory)

Reflections for the day

Luke 4:16

He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom.

2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Spurgeon’s “boiler room.”

Five young college students were spending a Sunday in London, so they went to hear the famed C.H. Spurgeon preach. While waiting for the doors to open, the students were greeted by a man who asked, “Gentlemen, let me show you around. Would you like to see the heating plant of this church?” They were not particularly interested, for it was a hot day in July. But they didn’t want to offend the stranger, so they consented. The young men were taken down a stairway, a door was quietly opened, and their guide whispered, “This is our heating plant.” Surprised, the students saw 700 people bowed in prayer, seeking a blessing on the service that was soon to begin in the auditorium above. Softly closing the door, the gentleman then introduced himself. It was none other than Charles Spurgeon.

A reflection on thou Church (attendance and offertory)

Heavenly Father,

Thou hath created thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind. Thou art Our Heavenly Father who knows all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who sees all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is in possession of all thou facts.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou loves each and every one of us, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou with all of a heart, and to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by words, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by time, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by energy. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that overspills into a relationship, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind enables all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, loves us all.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of an attendance at thou holy place known as thou Church. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Scriptures teach all of Mankind about thou Church, and that thou Scriptures teach all of Mankind what thou Church is for. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Scriptures teach all of Mankind that all of Mankind are called to gather as a community, and that a gathering is one that is known to all as thou Church. We are able to see in a way that is clear that a gathering as thou Church is one that thou desires for a self, and we are able to see in a way that is clear thou desires for all of Mankind to be at one with thou, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that by drawing closer to thou, thou glory is one that is revealed. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou formation of thou Church is one that can be described as fundamental to a faith in thou, and that through a faith of thou a self can be led into a relationship with thou.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Church is one where thou is worshipped, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Church is one where a self can pray to thou, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Church is one where thou Holy Spirit moves, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Church is one where a self can be nourished in a way that can be described as spiritual.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that for some there is a difficulty in attending thou Church on what can be described as a basis that is regular. We are able to see in a way that is clear that for some there is what can be described as an activity that occurs on thou Sabbath, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that an activity that occurs on thou Sabbath is one that a self feels a need to attend. We acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to put thou first in all that is thought, and in all that is spoke, and in all that is done, and we acknowledge that in order to put thou first in all that is thought, and in all that is spoke, and in all that is done, that there is a need to attend thou Church on a basis that is regular, and a basis that is regular is each Sabbath day.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to provide a number of opportunities before all of Mankind to reflect upon an attendance at thou Church, and we hope and we pray that all of Mankind will turn to thou always, and we hope and we pray that all of Mankind will put thou first in all that is thought, and in all that is spoke, and in all that is done.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that for some there is a difficulty in understanding the nature of sin, and that for some there is a difficulty in recognising the error of a way. We acknowledge that in order for all to be prepared to praise thou, and in order for all to be prepared in a worship of thou, that there is a need for a self to confess all sins to thou, and that in order to be cleansed from all sins, there is a need for a self to say sorry for the error of a way, and there is a need for a self to say sorry for the error of a way at a time a self enters thou holy place.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to see the error of a way, and we ask thou to guide a self to say sorry for the error of a way, and we ask thou to guide a self to make the changes in a life of a self that are necessary in order to show a repentance.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou provides all Mankind with all of a need that is spiritual, and we acknowledge that there is a responsibility to thou by all of Mankind, and we acknowledge that a responsibility to thou is one that is described as a stewardship, and we acknowledge that in a stewardship there is an offer to thou of finance, and that an offer of finance to thou is symbolic.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that for many there is a difficulty that can be described as one that is financial, and we acknowledge that there is a desire of a self to give in a way that is financial. We hope and we pray that a self will reflect upon a giving, and we hope and we pray that a self will give in a way that can be described as freely.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with thou Holy Spirit, is thou advocate for all who are of thou world that we live in, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on lust

Reflections for the day

Exodus 20:14

You shall not commit adultery.

Matthew 5:28

But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honour, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God

John 12:25-26

Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honour the one who serves me.

It is not so true that “prayer changes things” as that prayer changes me and I change things. God has so constituted things that prayer on the basis of Redemption alters the way in which a man looks at things. Prayer is not a question of altering things externally, but of working wonders in a man’s disposition.

A reflection on lust

Heavenly Father,

You art the creator of thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all things known to Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by Mankind.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou art intimately concerned with all relationships. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou concern is not solely for an immediate family and a friend, but in the structure of a society. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou concern is in how many relate to another. We are able to see in a way that is clear that all are born into a relationship which draws a meaning from thou as our Heavenly Father who is loving.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect carefully upon the sin of lust. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Scriptures teach Mankind that lust is a thought, and that lust is a desire of one that is sexual in nature, and one that is excessive in nature. We are able to see in a way that is clear that lust is an act that can be described as one that causes pleasure for a self, and that this act can be described as unwholesome in nature, and that this act is one that is done to fulfil a desire which often is without regard to the consequence for another. We are able to see in a way that is clear that the sin of greed, and the desire for possession, are ones that can be associated with the sin of lust.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, came into thou world as a man free from sin, and that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, lived a life that was holy, and that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, laid down a life for all by taking upon a self the sins of Mankind, and by showing all thou way to thou.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many are concerned with the breakdown of a relationship, and we acknowledge that some are able to see in a way that is clear that a relationship can at times, break down due to a sin of lust. We are able to see in a way that is clear that when there is a breakdown in a relationship that another will suffer, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that those who suffer are the children of a relationship which has broken down.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide Mankind in a daily life, and we ask thou to guide all to live a life that is above reproach. We ask thou to guide some to avoid a temptation of lust, and we ask thou to guide some to reflect carefully upon a wrong, and to say sorry for all that is thought, and to say sorry for all that is done, and to make a change in a life so that a relationship with thou is one that is right, and to make a change in a life so that a relationship with another is made right.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake, in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with thou Holy Spirit, reigns on most high, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on forgiveness (one of several)

Reflections for the day

Luke 15:3-7

Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbours together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Luke 23:34

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

We must alter our lives in order to alter our hearts, for it is impossible to live one way and pray another. –William Law

A reflection on forgiveness (one of several)

Heavenly Father,

Thou art the creator of thou world that we live in and thou hath created all things known to Man, and thou hath created all things that are unseen by Man.

Heavenly Father, thou art a loving Father, and thou art a compassionate Father, and thou loves each and every one of us. Thou love for us is one that is all encompassing, thou love for us is one that hath no words to describe, and thou love for us is one that is not bound by time and energy. Thou love for us is one that enables us to love thou with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength. Thou love is one that enables our love for thou to spill over into all our relationships, and thou love is one that enables us to love thou neighbour.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we acknowledge that many of us find it difficult to forgive those who have wronged us. We are able to see that for some of us it is difficult to let go of anger, and we are able to see that it is hard to forgive others when we are still angry. We are able to see that some of us desire to see that justice prevails, and that some of us see that to forgive in situations where justice is meted may be seen by others as condoning the act. We are able to see that some of us would prefer that those who have offended us, and those who have upset us, should not be forgiven as it is often seen by others as an avoidance of justice. We are able to see that some of us desire an outcome that can be described as an “eye for an eye” and a “tooth for a tooth.” We are able to see that some of us find it difficult to forgive if those who have offended us, and those who have upset us, have not said sorry for their actions against us.

Heavenly Father, thou sent thou only Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, into this world to save us from all our sin. We acknowledge that during the ministry of Our Lord Jesus Christ he revealed to Man that he had come to set us free, and we are able to see that this was a means by which we are able to turn to thou and to ask thou for forgiveness for all our sins. Our Lord Jesus Christ revealed to us upon the cross that love triumphs over evil by the words of forgiveness that was uttered from the cross for those who had condemned him, and by a response of a promise in paradise to the thief who repented from the cross where he died alongside Our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are able to see that thou Scriptures teach Man that we need to confess all our sins to thou in order to be forgiven, and in order for us to have a righteous relationship with thou we need to repent. We are able to see that in order to restore what can be described as a right relationship with Man, we must confess to Man our wrong doings. We acknowledge that we cannot be right in our relationship with thou if we are wrong in our relationship with Man. We acknowledge that if Man has wronged us that thou desires us to be forgiving to Man always.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide us in our daily lives, we ask thou to help us understand that thou desire is for us to love thou neighbour. We ask thou to help us understand that those who have offended us, and those who have upset us, have the capacity for good. We hope and we pray that Man is able to reflect carefully upon the nature of forgiveness and is able to see that by forgiving we are able to free ourselves from the anger and the bitterness that we feel, and that by forgiving we are able to provide opportunities for others to transform their lives, and that by the power of forgiveness that we are able to draw nearer to thou.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thou all that has been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who together with thouself and thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, reigns on most high and is, and was, and always will be the most supreme and most absolute power and being, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on renewal

Reflections for the day

Jeremiah 17:10

“I the LORD search the heart
and examine the mind,
to reward each person according to their conduct,
according to what their deeds deserve.”

Colossians 3:2

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Romans 12:2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

“Prayer wonderfully clears the vision; steadies the nerves; defines duty; stiffens the purpose; sweetens and strengthens the spirit.”

A reflection on renewal

Heavenly Father,

Thou art the creator of thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all things known to Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by Mankind. Thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou, and we exalt thou name on high.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many are able to see in a way that is clear that thou hath revealed thou self through thou Creation, and through thou glory.

Heavenly Father, thou art a loving Father, and thou art a compassionate Father, and thou hath made a provision for each and all of us in terms of a need. Thou knoweth of a strain, and thou knoweth of a stress that is of one in a daily life,  and thou knoweth of a strain, and thou knoweth of a stress that  there is in a service to thou, and in a service for another.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many have a belief, and many have a thought, and many have an idea, and many have an opinion, and many have a conviction, and many have a prejudice, that is one that is formed by an influence of another. A thought, an idea, an opinion, a conviction, and a prejudice, is one that is formed by what is seen, and is one that is formed by what is experienced, and that all of these things are ones that can be tainted by ways that can be described as sinful, and all of these things are ones that can be tainted by ways that can be described as selfish.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou knoweth our every thought, and we acknowledge that there is a need to renew a mind, so that a mind will reflect thou purity, and so that a mind will reflect thou righteousness, and so that a mind will reflect thou love, and so that a mind will reflect thou joy.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that at a time in the future that many will desire to turn to thou, and we acknowledge that in order to draw closer to thou many will need to say sorry for the error of a way, and that many will need to ask thou to forgive many for an error of a way, and that many will need to make a change in a life that will reflect a sorrow for an error of a way.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that through a forgiveness, and through a repentance, many will be able to remain upon thou path which is one that is straight, and which is one that is narrow, toward thou light which is eternal. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for all Mankind to have a thought, and to speak a word, and to do a deed, that is in an alignment with thou will.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that there are times in a life when all will fall short in thou expectation. Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all Mankind in a daily life, and we ask thou to strengthen a resolve to address an area for which there is a concern of thou. We are able to see in a way that is clear that there is a need to give of a self to thou in a prayer that is proffered on a basis that is regular, and is on a basis that is daily, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that there is a need to give of a self in a study of thou Scripture, which is on a basis that is daily, and that there is a need to give of a self to worship thou, which is on a basis that is weekly, and there is a need to give of a self in service to thou, and there is a need to give of a self in service to another.

Heavenly Father, we are thankful that thou hath blessed Mankind with “every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ.” We are thankful that although a body will become aged, and that although a physical capability may become impaired, that we can be assured of thou renewal of a spirit, and that we can be assured of thou renewal of a heart, and we can be assured of thou renewal of a soul when we turn to thou always.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake, in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with thou Holy Spirit, reigns on most high, and is, and was, and always will, be the most supreme, and the most absolute power, and being, that advocates for all Mankind, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on forgiveness (one of several)

Reflections for the day

1 John 2

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

1 John 1:9-11

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Acts 3:19

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”

We must alter our lives in order to alter our hearts, for it is impossible to live one way and pray another. –William Law

A reflection on forgiveness (one of several)

Heavenly Father,

We acknowledge thou majesty of thou risen Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, we acknowledge thou purity of thou risen Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we acknowledge thou power of thou risen Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is at this time during Easter that we reflect upon the meaning of thou resurrection of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that the doctrine of thou resurrection of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ is one that is central to the Christian Faith. We acknowledge that thou resurrection of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ was one that gave meaning to thou crucifixion, and we acknowledge that thou crucifixion was one that thou intended ,and thou intention was for thou death of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ to be one that took on the sins of all in thou world, and that by taking on the sins of all in thou world, thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, showed us the way to thou.

Heavenly Father, thou art a loving Father and thou art a forgiving Father. We are able to see that thou Scriptures teach Man that Man needs to confess all sins to thou in order to be forgiven, and in order for Man to hath a righteous relationship with thou, Man needs to repent. We are able to see that in order to restore what can be described as a right relationship with thou, that Man must confess a sorrow to all others who have been affected by a wrong doing. We acknowledge that Man cannot be right in a relationship with thou, if Man is not right in a relationship with another.

Heavenly Father, many of us are able to see that the area of concern that need to be addressed with Man relate to quarrels, that the area of concern that need to be addressed with Man may relate to debts owed and that the area of concern that needs to be addressed with Man may relate to difficulties in a relationship.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide us in our daily lives, and we ask thou to help us to reflect carefully upon all our relationships, and we ask thou to help us to say sorry where a sorrow is due, and we ask thou to help us address those relationships which need to be renewed.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that all sin is against thou, and we acknowledge the need to confess every sin of which we are aware. We are thankful for the gracious provision of thou divine Advocate in thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we acknowledge that thou provision is to show Man the way to thou, and to help Man come to terms with all sins, and to help Man to say sorry for all sins committed by a self, and to make a change in a life that is necessary.

Heavenly Father, we desire to be thou obedient servant but know we fall short in thou expectation, we desire to lay down a life for thou but know we are reluctant at times, and we desire to be ready to do thou Will but know we are rebellious at times.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that we can remain on thou path toward thou eternal light. We are able to see that thou path toward thou eternal light is one that is straight and is one that is narrow, and we are able to see that sin is a cause for Man to stumble.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that Man will reflect carefully upon the way that Man lives, we hope and we pray that Man will see the error of a way, we hope and we pray that Man will say sorry for all errors of a way, and we hope and we pray that Man will make a change that is necessary in a life, in order to turn to thou.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thou all that is spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who lives within us, who dwells amongst us, and who advocates for us, now and always, and for evermore.

Amen.

Reflections for the day

Isaiah 43: 25

“I, even I, am he who blots out
your transgressions, for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.

There is nothing that makes us love a man so much as praying for him. –William Law

A reflection on forgiveness (one of several)

Heavenly Father,

Thou art a loving Father and thou art a compassionate Father, and we praise thou, and we uphold thou name on high.

Heavenly Father,we are able to see that many of us are able to express a love for thou, and we are able to see that the love that is expressed for thou is one that is all encompassing. We are able to see that thou love that thou hath for Man is one that is enduring, and we are able to see that thou love thou hath for Man is one that is eternal. Many of us are able to see that thou love thou hath for Man is one that is there for all, and many of us are able to see that thou love thou hath for Man is one that is desirable for Mankind.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that when thou Son, Our LordJesus Christ, died upon the cross, that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, took upon thouself all the sins of Mankind. We acknowledge that thou death of thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross enables all of Man to find thou way to thou.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that Man has sinned since time began, and that a sinful way is one that cause a separation from thou. We are able to see that some of what hath happened in a life can be described as an event that some would sooner forget. Some of these events are ones that can be described as failures, and some of these events are ones that can be described as sinful. Some feel that these failures and some  feel that these sins are ones that are indelible.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we ask thou to guide Man to reflect upon the error of a way, and we ask thou to guide Man to make a change in a life that means that Man hath turned away from sin, and turned toward thou.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see that thou desires us to repent, and we are able to see that thou desires us to forgive those who have offended us or upset us.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide us in our daily lives so that we are able to pardon those who have upset us or offended us, and we ask thou to help us to no longer feel resentment or anger toward all who hath offended or upset us.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge thou art a loving Father who is willing to forgive, and we acknowledge thou art a loving Father who will put aside a sin that hath been proffered in sorrow, and with a will, and with a desire, to make a change in a life that is necessary.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect carefully upon thou sacrifice of thou Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ which was made for all Man when thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ died upon the cross. We uphold to thou a;; who are unable to forgive and we uphold to thou all who are unable to forget those who have sinned against them.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that Mankind will relinquish the bitterness that is felt toward another, we hope and we pray, that Mankind will relinquish the hate that is felt toward another, and we hope and we pray that Mankind will relinquish the anger that is felt  toward another, and we hope and we pray that Mankind will turn to thou and seek forgiveness.

Heavenly Father, help us not to grieve thou by persisting in remembering what thou hath forgiven and what thou hath put to one side.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thou all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, who together with thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ and thou Holy Spirit is, and was, and always will be the most supreme and most absolute power and being that rules over all of this world that we live on and is, and was, and always will be an Advocate for all Man, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.
