A reflection on thou Church (attendance and offertory)

Reflections for the day

Luke 4:16

He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom.

2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Spurgeon’s “boiler room.”

Five young college students were spending a Sunday in London, so they went to hear the famed C.H. Spurgeon preach. While waiting for the doors to open, the students were greeted by a man who asked, “Gentlemen, let me show you around. Would you like to see the heating plant of this church?” They were not particularly interested, for it was a hot day in July. But they didn’t want to offend the stranger, so they consented. The young men were taken down a stairway, a door was quietly opened, and their guide whispered, “This is our heating plant.” Surprised, the students saw 700 people bowed in prayer, seeking a blessing on the service that was soon to begin in the auditorium above. Softly closing the door, the gentleman then introduced himself. It was none other than Charles Spurgeon.

A reflection on thou Church (attendance and offertory)

Heavenly Father,

Thou hath created thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind. Thou art Our Heavenly Father who knows all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who sees all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is in possession of all thou facts.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou loves each and every one of us, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou with all of a heart, and to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by words, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by time, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by energy. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that overspills into a relationship, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind enables all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, loves us all.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of an attendance at thou holy place known as thou Church. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Scriptures teach all of Mankind about thou Church, and that thou Scriptures teach all of Mankind what thou Church is for. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Scriptures teach all of Mankind that all of Mankind are called to gather as a community, and that a gathering is one that is known to all as thou Church. We are able to see in a way that is clear that a gathering as thou Church is one that thou desires for a self, and we are able to see in a way that is clear thou desires for all of Mankind to be at one with thou, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that by drawing closer to thou, thou glory is one that is revealed. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou formation of thou Church is one that can be described as fundamental to a faith in thou, and that through a faith of thou a self can be led into a relationship with thou.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Church is one where thou is worshipped, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Church is one where a self can pray to thou, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Church is one where thou Holy Spirit moves, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Church is one where a self can be nourished in a way that can be described as spiritual.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that for some there is a difficulty in attending thou Church on what can be described as a basis that is regular. We are able to see in a way that is clear that for some there is what can be described as an activity that occurs on thou Sabbath, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that an activity that occurs on thou Sabbath is one that a self feels a need to attend. We acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to put thou first in all that is thought, and in all that is spoke, and in all that is done, and we acknowledge that in order to put thou first in all that is thought, and in all that is spoke, and in all that is done, that there is a need to attend thou Church on a basis that is regular, and a basis that is regular is each Sabbath day.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to provide a number of opportunities before all of Mankind to reflect upon an attendance at thou Church, and we hope and we pray that all of Mankind will turn to thou always, and we hope and we pray that all of Mankind will put thou first in all that is thought, and in all that is spoke, and in all that is done.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that for some there is a difficulty in understanding the nature of sin, and that for some there is a difficulty in recognising the error of a way. We acknowledge that in order for all to be prepared to praise thou, and in order for all to be prepared in a worship of thou, that there is a need for a self to confess all sins to thou, and that in order to be cleansed from all sins, there is a need for a self to say sorry for the error of a way, and there is a need for a self to say sorry for the error of a way at a time a self enters thou holy place.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to see the error of a way, and we ask thou to guide a self to say sorry for the error of a way, and we ask thou to guide a self to make the changes in a life of a self that are necessary in order to show a repentance.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou provides all Mankind with all of a need that is spiritual, and we acknowledge that there is a responsibility to thou by all of Mankind, and we acknowledge that a responsibility to thou is one that is described as a stewardship, and we acknowledge that in a stewardship there is an offer to thou of finance, and that an offer of finance to thou is symbolic.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that for many there is a difficulty that can be described as one that is financial, and we acknowledge that there is a desire of a self to give in a way that is financial. We hope and we pray that a self will reflect upon a giving, and we hope and we pray that a self will give in a way that can be described as freely.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with thou Holy Spirit, is thou advocate for all who are of thou world that we live in, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on genetically modified food

Reflections for the day

Romans 8:18-23

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.

1 Chronicles 29:11

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

Prayer moves the hand that moves the world.

A reflection on genetically modified food

Heavenly Father,

Thou art Our Heavenly Father who is loving, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is compassionate.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many are able to express a love for thou, and we acknowledge that thou love that is expressed for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is enduring, and we acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that is eternal. We acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that is there for all, and we acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that thou desires all of Mankind to perceive and to discern.

Heavenly Father, thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou for thou power, and we praise thou for thou mightiness. We acknowledge that thou art Our Heavenly Father who knows all, and we acknowledge that thou art Our Heavenly Father who sees all, and we acknowledge that thou art Our Heavenly Father who is in possession of all thou facts.

Heavenly Father, thou art the creator of thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of a food that is described as one that is modified in a way that is genetic. We acknowledge that thou plants, and we acknowledge that thou animals, and we acknowledge that thou trees are susceptible to what is described as a ravage of a disease, and are susceptible to what is described as a ravage of a drought, and are susceptible to what is described as a ravage of an insect. We acknowledge that the intention of some is to offset an effect of a ravage, and that the intention of some is to alter what is described as a make-up that is genetic of an organism, and that the intention of some is to alter a make-up that is genetic of a plant, and that the intention of some is to alter a make-up that is genetic of an animal, and that the intention of some is to alter a make-up that is genetic of a bacteria. We acknowledge that by altering a make-up that is genetic of an organism will mean that there will be a resistance to an insect, and that there is likely to be a resistance to a temperature that is not fitting for the well being of an organism, and that there is likely to be a resistance to a disease.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge thou instructed all of Mankind to be a keeper of thou world that we live in, and we acknowledge thou instructed all of Mankind to have a dominion over all things, and we acknowledge thou instructed all of Mankind to subdue thou earth.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we desire that many will reflect carefully upon a consequence of altering what is described as a make-up that is genetic of food. We are able to see in a way that is clear that a consequence of producing what is described as a crop that is modified in a way that is genetic will alter a make -up that is genetic of another organism, and will be one that will be a risk to all living things.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to turn to thou always, and we hope and we pray that a self will turn to thou, and we hope and we pray that a self will seek a guidance, and we hope and we pray that a self will perceive and a self will discern an understanding of thou.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that all of Mankind will reflect carefully upon an action, and we hope and we pray that an action of a self is one that is fitting in thou eyes.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, who together with thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and thou Holy Spirit, is, and was, and will always be, the most supreme, and the most absolute power and being, that governs over all who are of thou world that we live in, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on Pentecost

Reflections for the day

John 14:16-17

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Acts 2:1-4

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

“If the spiritual life be healthy, under the full power of the Holy Spirit, praying without ceasing will be natural.”

Andrew Murray

“Since the days of Pentecost, has the whole church ever put aside every other work and waited upon Him for ten days that the Spirit’s power might be manifested? We give too much attention to method and machinery and resources, and too little to the source of power.”

 Hudson Taylor

A reflection on Pentecost

Heavenly Father,

Thou art the creator of thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind. Thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou, and we exalt thou, for thou power, and for thou mightiness.

Heavenly Father, thou art Our Heavenly Father who is loving, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is compassionate, and thou loves each and every one of us. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by words, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by time, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by energy. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou with all of a heart, and to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that overspills into a relationship, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ loves us all.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge thou as one Father, and we acknowledge thou as eternally existent in three persons, as thou Father, as thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and as thou Holy Spirit. We acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is thou manifest in the flesh, and we acknowledge thou intention that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, came into thou world to redeem all of Mankind from all sins, and for all of Mankind to be shown thou way to thou. We acknowledge that thou, and thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, is thou source of all wisdom and thou source of all counsel, and we acknowledge that thou, and thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, stands supreme above all. We acknowledge that thou Holy Spirit enables many to live a life that can be described as one that thou desires, and we acknowledge that thou Holy Spirit enables all of Mankind to witness thou word which is of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and we acknowledge that thou Holy Spirit enables all of Mankind to work in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of Pentecost. We acknowledge that thou Scriptures reveal that thou Holy Spirit came upon thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and that thou Holy Spirit came upon thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, at a time of prayer, and a time of prayer was one that followed thou baptism of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, by thou servant John. We acknowledge that an event was one that preceded thou ministry of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and that thou ministry of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, was one that was marked by thou manifestation of thou power.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou Holy Spirit came upon thou disciples and others, and that thou Holy Spirit came upon thou disciples and others, at a time known as the Feast of Pentecost, and at a time when thou disciples and others were in prayer. We acknowledge that an event known to all of Mankind as one of Pentecost was one that preceded thou ministry of thou disciples, and that thou ministry of thou disciples was one that was marked by thou manifestation of thou power.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that at the time of thou baptism of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, that thou proclaimed thou unity with thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and with thou Holy Spirit, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that at the time which is known as Pentecost that thou proclaimed thou unity with thou Church.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou power and thou mightiness are ones that enabled thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to carry out thou ministry, and we acknowledge that thou power and thou mightiness are ones that enabled thou disciples to carry out thou ministry, and we acknowledge that thou power and thou mightiness is one that is seen in thou Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many believe that thou coming of thou Holy Spirit at Pentecost was one that marked thou birth of thou Church. We acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, said much to thou disciples about thou coming of thou Holy Spirit. We acknowledge that thou presence of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is one that is assured as one through thou Holy Spirit. We acknowledge that thou Holy Spirit lives within Man, and we acknowledge that thou Holy Spirit dwells amongst Man, and we acknowledge that thou Holy Spirit advocates for Man.

Heavenly Father, we are thankful that thou Holy Spirit is able to teach a self, and we are thankful that thou Holy Spirit is able to comfort a self, and we are thankful that thou Holy Spirit is able to guide a self, and we are thankful that thou Holy Spirit is able to empower a self who is at one with thou, Our Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is one that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to turn to thou always, and we ask thou to empower a self to serve another in thou name of thou, Our Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we hope and we pray that many will reflect carefully upon thou power of thou Holy Spirit, and we hope and we pray that a self will turn to thou, and we hope and we pray that a self will proclaim thou Gospel, and we hope and we pray that thou glory will be seen in the works that are good of a self.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, who together with thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for all of Mankind, in order to redeem all of Mankind from all sins, and to show all of Mankind thou way to thou, and who together with thou Holy Spirit, who lives within Man, and who dwells amongst Man, and who advocates for Man, is, and was, and always will be, the most supreme, and the most absolute power and being, that advocates for all who are of thou world that we live in, now and always, for evermore.

Amen

A reflection on forgiveness and reconciliation

Reflections for the day

1 John 2
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

1 John 1:9-11
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Acts 3:19

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”

We must alter our lives in order to alter our hearts, for it is impossible to live one way and pray another. –William Law

A reflection on forgiveness and reconciliation

Heavenly Father,

Heavenly Father, thou art Our Heavenly Father who is loving, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is compassionate, and thou loves each and every one of us. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by words, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by time and and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by energy. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou with all of a heart, and to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables thou love for all of Mankind to overspill into a relationship, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, loves us all.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we acknowledge that many find a difficulty to forgive another who has wronged a self. We are able to see in a way that is clear that for some it is difficult to let go of an anger, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that for some it is hard to forgive another when there is anger. We are able to see in a way that is clear that some desire to see a justice prevail, and that some see that to forgive a situation where a justice is meted may be seen by another as condoning an act. We are able to see in a way that is clear that some prefer a self who has offended, and a self who has caused an upset to not be forgiven. We are able to see in a way that is clear that some desire an outcome that can be described as an “eye for an eye” and a “tooth for a tooth.” We are able to see in a way that is clear that some find it difficult to forgive another who has offended, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that there is an occasion where some are unable to come to terms with a forgiveness for another, if another has declined to proffer a sorrow for a word that has been spoke, or a deed that has been done.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that during thou ministry of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, that it was revealed that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, came into thou world to redeem all of Mankind from all sins, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that as a consequence a self is able to turn to thou, and a self is able to ask thou for a forgiveness for an error of a way. Thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, revealed to all upon the cross that a love will triumph over an evil by thou a word of forgiveness that was uttered from the cross for all who had condemned thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and by a response of a promise in paradise to a thief who repented from the cross, who died alongside thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon an occasion in the Second World War when there was much destruction, and we reflect upon an occasion in the Second World War when there was a destruction of thou church of St Michaels of Coventry. We acknowledge there was a time of suffering, and we acknowledge that there was a time when many were killed. We acknowledge that at this time a man named Provost Howard inscribed upon a remnant of the altar of thou church of St Michaels, “Father, forgive.” We acknowledge that at a time that was later that thou Cathedral of Coventry was one that was constructed, and we acknowledge that thou Cathedral of Coventry was one that was constructed on the ruin of thou church of St Michaels.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we acknowledge the anniversary of 50 years of the consecration of thou Cathedral of Coventry. We acknowledge that a mission at a time of 50 years ago was one of reconciliation, and we acknowledge that a mission at a time of 50 years ago was of one to reconcile thou nation of The British Isles with thou nation of Germany.

Heavenly Father, we ask for thou blessing on the works that are good of thou Cathedral of Coventry, and we ask for thou blessing on its rededication as a memorial to a victim of war who is described as a civilian.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that the works that are good of thou Cathedral of Coventry are ones that have been adopted by thou churches and by another, and we acknowledge that the works that are good of thou Cathedral of Coventry are ones that have been adopted toward a working of peace in thou world.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is one that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to perceive and to discern that thou desire is for all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, loves us all. We ask thou to guide a self to understand that a self  who has offended a self, and a self who has caused an upset has a capacity for good. We hope and we pray that all of Mankind is able to reflect carefully upon the nature of forgiveness and we hope and we pray that all of Mankind is able to see a way forward in a way that is clear that by forgiving, a self is able to free a self from a feeling of anger, and that a self is are able to free a self from a feeling of bitterness, and that by forgiving, a self is able to provide an opportunity for a self to transform a life of a self, and that by thou power of forgiveness that a self is are able to draw nearer to thou.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and we uphold all that hath been spake in thou name of thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and we uphold all that hath been spake in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who together with thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is thou Redeemer and thou Saviour for all of Mankind, now and always, for evermore.

Amen

A reflection on the creation of thou world of Our Heavenly Father

Heavenly Father,

We acknowledge that thou loves each and every one of us, and we acknowledge that thou love is one that is all encompassing, and we acknowledge that thou love is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou with all of a heart, and to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by words, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by time, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by energy. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that overspills into a relationship, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, loves us all.

Heavenly Father, thou art the creator of thou world that we live in and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind. Thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou, and we exalt thou, for thou power and for thou mightiness.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou instructed all of Mankind to be a keeper of thou world that we live in, and we acknowledge that thou instructed all of Mankind to have a dominion over all things, and we acknowledge that thou instructed all of Mankind to subdue thou earth.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou bestowed upon thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, the title Mighty God. We acknowledge  that in thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, dwells all the fullness of thou Deity and that a fullness of thou Deity is in what is known as a bodily form. We acknowledge that thou created thou world that we live in, and we are able to see in a way that is clear thou power at work in thou world. Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou hath a majesty, and we acknowledge that thou hath a mightiness, which is a might, and which is a majesty, that is one that can be described as divine.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we acknowledge thou creation, and it is at this time we acknowledge the beauty of thou creation, and it is at this time we acknowledge the splendour of thou creation, and it is at this time we acknowledge the mightiness of thou creation, and it is at this time we acknowledge thou presence always in thou creation.

Heavenly Father, many are able to see in a way that is clear that thou bestowed upon all of Mankind thou world for a safe keeping, and we acknowledge that there are many who are happy with the way things are. We are able to see in a way that is clear that there will be a time in the future of all of Mankind when all of Mankind will reflect upon a manner, and a way that all of Mankind have treated thou creation.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we hope and we pray that many will reflect carefully upon the need to care for thou creation in the way that thou desires, and we hope and we pray that many will reflect carefully upon the error of a way, and we hope and we pray, that a self will say sorry for a wrong doing, and we hope and we pray that a self will make the changes necessary in the life of a self in order to show a repentance, and we hope and we pray that a self will turn to thou always.

Heavenly Father, all things are possible through thou if a self places a faith, and if a self places a trust, and if a self places a belief in thou.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray, that all of Mankind are able to turn to thou in praise and in thankfulness, and we hope and we pray that a self will make the right choices in order to restore a peace, and in order to restore a harmony to thou creation, and we hope and we pray, that a self will care for thou creation in a way that is fitting.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for all of Mankind to redeem all of Mankind from all sins, and to show all of Mankind thou way to thou, and all that hath been spake in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who lives within Man, and who dwells amongst Man, and who advocates for Man, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on the use of cosmetic surgery

Reflections for the day

1 Samuel 16:7

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

1 Peter 3:3-4

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewellery or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

What I am in God’s sight is what I am. No more; no less.

St Francis of Assisi

A reflection on the use of cosmetic surgery

Heavenly Father,

Thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou name for thou power, and we praise thou name for thou mightiness. Thou art Our Heavenly Father who knows all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who sees all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is in possession of all thou facts.

Heavenly Father, thou art the creator of thou world and all that is in thou world, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind. Thou created all of Mankind to be born with a particular appearance, and thou created all of Mankind to be born with a particular shape, and thou created all of Mankind to be born with a particular colour, and thou created all of Mankind to be born with a particular size, and thou hath created all of Mankind to be equal within thou eyes.

We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that overspills into a relationship, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind enables all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ loves us all.

Heavenly Father, thou sent thou beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, into thou world to die for all of Mankind upon a cross in order to redeem all of Mankind from all sins, and in order to show all of Mankind thou way to thou.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that during thou life of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, that it was revealed that there is a need to focus on thou always, and not on a self.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Scriptures teach all of Mankind much about an appearance. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for all of Mankind to be content with an appearance that thou hath bestowed upon a self. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for all of Mankind to not have a concern with an appearance that is outward, and thou desire is for all of Mankind to be concerned with a matter that is close to a heart of a self, and to another. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for all of Mankind to put aside a concern about an appearance that is outward, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for all of Mankind to turn to thou always.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of cosmetic surgery. We are able to see in a way that is clear that much is said in the media about an appearance that is outward, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that much is depicted in the media about an appearance that is outward, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that much is said in the media about cosmetic surgery, and that much is said in the media about a danger that relates to a procedure known as cosmetic surgery. We are able to see in a way that is clear that some are influenced by what is seen in the media, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that what is shown in the media is done to persuade a self to have an appearance that is acceptable. We are able to see in a way that is clear that some are concerned that a look is not acceptable, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that a concern is due, at times, to what is said by another.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to bring to thou presence a worry, and a concern.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we ask thou to provide a number of opportunities before many to reflect carefully upon a need to be healthy always. We are able to see in a way that is clear that being healthy is desirable for all of Mankind. We are able to see in a way that is clear that for some the need for cosmetic surgery is one that is not necessary.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to grant a self  the grace to accept with a serenity the things that cannot be changed, and a courage to change the things that should be changed, and a wisdom to distinguish the one from another.

Heavenly Father, we are thankful thou hath created all of Mankind in a way that is loving, in terms of bestowing upon all of Mankind an appearance that is fitting for a self, and we ask thou to guide a self to accept an appearance of a self.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who lives within Man, and who dwells amongst Man, and who advocates for Man, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on thou Church as thou family

Reflections of the day

1 Peter 2 4-10

As you come to him, the living Stone —rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says:

“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame.”

Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,

“The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”

and,

“A stone that causes people to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.”

They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

So when we sing, ‘Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,’ we are not thinking of the nearness of place, but of the nearness of relationship. It is for increasing degrees of awareness that we pray, for a more perfect consciousness of the divine Presence. We need never shout across the spaces to an absent God. He is nearer than our own soul, closer than our most secret thoughts. –A.W. Tozer

A reflection on thou Church as thou family

Heavenly Father,

We acknowledge that thou loves each and every one of us, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou with all of a heart, and to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength.

Heavenly Father, thou loves thou world that we live in, and thou revealed to all of Mankind thou love for thou world that we live in by sending into thou world that we live in thou beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for all of Mankind in order to redeem all of Mankind from all sins, and to show all of Mankind thou way to thou.

Heavenly Father, thou art the creator of thou world and all that is in thou world, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind. Thou hath created all of Mankind to be born with a particular appearance, and thou hath created all of Mankind to be born with a particular shape, and thou hath created all of Mankind to be born with a particular colour, and thou hath created all of Mankind to be born with a particular size, and thou hath created all of Mankind to be equal in thou eyes. Thou hath created all of Mankind for a purpose, and the purpose thou hath created all of Mankind for is to have a relationship, and thou hath created all of Mankind to have a relationship with thou, and thou hath created all of Mankind to have a relationship with another.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of thou Church as thou family. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou art intimately concerned with all relationships. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou concern is how all of Mankind relate to all others.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Church cannot belong to what is described as a culture. We acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to be at one with thou, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to be at one with each other. We acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to listen to another, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to learn from another, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to love thou, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to love another, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to turn to thou always.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to overcome a prejudice of another.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou desire is for thou Church to be one that is drawn from every nation, and that thou desire is for thou Church to be one that is drawn from every tribe, and that thou desire is for thou Church to be one that is drawn from every people, and that thou desire is for thou Church to be one that is drawn from every language. We hope and we pray that all of Mankind will reflect carefully upon thou desire, and we hope and we pray that a self will draw closer to thou, and we hope and we pray that a self will draw closer to another.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is thou way, and who is thou truth, and who is thou life, and is thou way to thou, and in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who lives within Man, and who dwells amongst Man, and who advocates for Man, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on the needs of a family

Reflections for the day

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We lean to our own understanding, or we bank on service and do away with prayer, and consequently by succeeding in the external we fail in the eternal, because in the eternal we succeed only by prevailing prayer. –Oswald Chambers

A reflection on the needs of a family

Heavenly Father,

We acknowledge that thou loves each and every one of us, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou with all of a heart, and  to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by words, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by time, and we ackonwledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is not bound by energy. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that overspills into a relationship, and we ackonwledge that thou love for all of Mankind enables all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, loves us all.

Heavenly Father, thou loved thou world that we live in so very much that thou sent into thou world that we live in thou beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for all of Mankind to redeem all of Mankind from all sins, and to show all of Mankind thou way to thou.

Heavenly Father, thou art the creator of thou world and all that is in thou world, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind, and thou hath created all of Mankind to be equal in thou eyes. Thou hath created all of Mankind for a purpose, and thou purpose thou hath created all of Mankind for is to have a relationship, and thou hath created all of Mankind to hath a relationship with thou, and thou hath created all of Mankind to have a relationship with another.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou art intimately concerned with all relationships. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou concern is for a family, and thou concern is for a friend of a self, and thou concern is for a structure of thou society. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou concern is how all of Mankind relate to each other.

Heavenly Father, we are thankful that thou holds in existence thou people and thou nations, whether or not there is an acknowledgement of thou, We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, welcomed all thou children, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, taught all of Mankind to be patient with another, and taught all of Mankind to be kind to another, and taught all of Mankind to be gentle toward another, and taught all of Mankind to love another in thou way that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ loves us all. We are able to see in a way that is clear that all thou children must be placed in a manner, and in a way that is safe, and is loving, within what is described as a family unit.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect carefully upon the needs of a family. We acknowledge that many are able to see in a way that is clear matters that relate to an upbringing of a child, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that many are able to seek an advice about an upbringing of a child, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that for some there is a difficulty which relates to an upbringing of a child, and a difficulty is one, that at times, relates to those who can be  described as new parents, and a difficulty is one, that at times, relates to a self who is unable to see a way forward in a way that is clear that an advice must be sought in an upbringing of a child.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that there is much said in the media about a seeking of advice for an upbringing of a child. We ask thou to provide a number of opportunities before many to enable a self who needs advice for an upbringing of a child to be able to access an advice that is desired for an upbringing of a child. We hope and we pray that a self will make the right choice in an upbringing of a child, and we hope and we pray that a self will turn to thou always.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is one that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to turn to thou always, and we ask thou to guide a self to draw closer to thou.

Amen.

A reflection on prescribed medication

Reflections for the day

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your bodies.

3 John 1:2

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well

A reflection on prescribed medication

Heavenly Father,

Thou art Our Heavenly Father who is loving, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is compassionate.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many are able to express a love for thou, and we acknowledge that thou love that is expressed for all of Mankind is one that can be described as all encompassing. We acknowledge that thou love that thou hath for all of Mankind is one that is enduring, and we acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that is eternal. We acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that is there for all, and we acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that thou desires for all of Mankind to know.

Heavenly Father, thou art the creator of thou world that we live in and thou thou hath created all that is in thou world. Thou hath created all of Mankind for a purpose, and that purpose is one of having a relationship, and thou desire is for all of Mankind to have a relationship with thou, and thou desire is for all of Mankind to have a relationship with another.

Heavenly Father, thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou for thou power, and we praise thou for thou mightiness. Thou art Our Heavenly Father who knows all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who sees all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is in possession of all thou facts.

Heavenly Father, thou sent thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, into thou world, in order to redeem all of Mankind from all sins, and in order to show all of Mankind thou way to thou. We acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, was obedient to thou always. We acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to emulate thou life of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of a use of a medication that is one that is prescribed. We acknowledge that many have, at times, been prescribed a medication, and that a medication that has been prescribed, at times, has been one that is necessary. We are able to see in a way that is clear that some are prescribed a medication that is on a basis that can be described as long term, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that for some a medication that is prescribed is one that treats a symptom, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that for some a medication that is prescribed is one that does not treat what can be described as a root cause.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou desires all of Mankind to care of a self in a way that is physical, and we acknowledge that if there is a lack of care of a physical body that it is likely to affect some in a way that can be described as spiritual. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for all of Mankind to have a weight that is acceptable, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for all of Mankind to have a state of health that is desirable.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that there is much said in the media about the use of a medication that is prescribed, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that there is a recommendation about a use of a medication, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that a recommendation is one that relates to the taking of a medication in terms that can be described as general, and is one that is, at times, relates to a medication that is prescribed for a time that can be described as long term.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we hope and we pray that a self will reflect carefully upon a recommendation, and we hope and we pray that a self will consider carefully an outcome of taking a medication that is prescribed on a basis that is described as one that is long term, and we hope and we pray that a self will make the changes that are necessary in a life of a self so that what is seen as a need to take a medication on a basis that is described as long term is one that is no longer valid.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou desire is for all Mankind to turn to thou always, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to serve thou, and we acknowledge that all Mankind needs to ensure a health is one that is desirable, and we acknowledge that there is a need to ensure a health is desirable in order for a body to function in a way that can be described as fitting.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is one that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to turn to thou always.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with thou Holy Spirit, reigns on most high, and is, and was, and always will be, the most supreme, and the most absolute power and being, who advocates for all who are on thou earth, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection on the day of the ascension of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ

Reflections for the day

1 Peter 3:22

who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand —with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.

Matthew 28:18-20

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Philippians 2:9-11

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

“To pray in Jesus’ name means to pray in his spirit, in his compassion, in his love, in his outrage, in his concern. In other words, it means to pray a prayer that Jesus himself might pray.”
Kenneth L. Wilson

A reflection on the day of the ascension of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ

Heavenly Father,

Thou art the creator of thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind. Thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou, and we exalt thou, for thou power, and for thou mightiness. Thou art Our Heavenly Father who knows all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who sees all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is in possession of all thou facts.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, laid down a life for all of Mankind, and that by doing so thou made to all of Mankind what can be described as a sacrifice, and that thou sacrifice thou made for all of Mankind is one that reveals thou love for all.

We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that overspills into a relationship, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ loves us all.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge thou majesty of thou risen Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we acknowledge thou purity of thou risen Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we acknowledge thou power of thou risen Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time that we reflect upon the ascension of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ is exalted, and we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is enthroned at thou side. We acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is above all others, and we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is above all others in thou name, and above all others in thou authority, and we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is thou King of Kings, and we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is thou Lord of Lords.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many are able to see in a way that is clear that the ascension of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is one that is the vindication of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and is one that is the victory of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and is one that acknowledges that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, reigns with thou at thou side.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is thou advocate for all of Mankind, and we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is permitted to hear all prayers, and we acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is thou way to thou.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that all of Mankind will turn to thou, and we hope and we pray that a self will emulate thou life of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we hope and we pray that a self will see that in order to remain on thou path, which is a path that is straight, and which is a path that is narrow, toward thou light which is eternal, that a self must say sorry for the error of a way, and that a self must make the necessary changes in a life of a self to show a repentance.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is one that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to see the error of a way, and we ask thou to guide a self to proffer a sorrow to thouself, Our Heavenly Father,  for the error of a way, and we ask thou to guide a self to incur a change in a life of a self that is necessary in order to show a repentance, and we ask thou to guide a self to draw closer to thou.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that the ascension of thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ is an assurance of a life that is eternal with thouself, Our Heavenly Father. We ask thou to guide a self to bear a witness to the ascension of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we ask thou to guide a self to bear a witness to thou glory of thou ascended Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with thou Holy Spirit, reigns on most high, and is, and was, and always will be, the most supreme, and the most absolute power and being, that governs over all who are of thou world that we live in, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.
