Reflections for the day

Romans 8:18-23

 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.

1 Chronicles 29:11

A reflection on genetically modified food

Heavenly Father,

Thou art Our Heavenly Father who is loving, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is compassionate.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many are able to express a love for thou, and we acknowledge that thou love that is expressed for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is enduring, and we acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that is eternal. We acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that is there for all, and we acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that thou desires all of Mankind to perceive and to discern.

Heavenly Father, thou art almighty, and thou art most powerful, and we praise thou for thou power, and we praise thou for thou mightiness. We acknowledge that thou art Our Heavenly Father who knows all, and we acknowledge that thou art Our Heavenly Father who sees all, and we acknowledge that thou art Our Heavenly Father who is in possession of all thou facts.

Heavenly Father, thou art the creator of thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of a food that is described as one that is modified in a way that is genetic. We acknowledge that thou plants, and we acknowledge that thou animals, and we acknowledge that thou trees are susceptible to what is described as a ravage of a disease, and are susceptible to what is described as a ravage of a drought, and are susceptible to what is described as a ravage of an insect. We acknowledge that the intention of some is to offset an effect of a ravage, and that the intention of some is to alter what is described as a make-up that is genetic of an organism, and that the intention of some is to alter a make-up that is genetic of a plant, and that the intention of some is to alter a make-up that is genetic of an animal, and that the intention of some is to alter a make-up that is genetic of a bacteria. We acknowledge that by altering a make-up that is genetic of an organism will mean that there will be a resistance to an insect, and that there is likely to be a resistance to a temperature that is not fitting for the well being of an organism, and that there is likely to be a resistance to a disease.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge thou instructed all of Mankind to be a keeper of thou world that we live in, and we acknowledge thou instructed all of Mankind to have a dominion over all things, and we acknowledge thou instructed all of Mankind to subdue thou earth.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we desire that many will reflect carefully upon a consequence of altering what is described as a make-up that is genetic of food. We are able to see in a way that is clear that a consequence of producing what is described as a crop that is modified in a way that is genetic will alter a make -up that is genetic of another organism, and will be one that will be a risk to all living things.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to turn to thou always, and we hope and we pray that a self will turn to thou, and we hope and we pray that a self will seek a guidance, and we hope and we pray that a self will perceive and a self will discern an understanding of thou.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that all of Mankind will reflect carefully upon an action, and we hope and we pray that an action of a self is one that is fitting in thou eyes.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, who together with thou Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and thou Holy Spirit, is, and was, and will always be, the most supreme, and the most absolute power and being, that governs over all who are of thou world that we live in, now and always, for evermore.

If we are willing to spend hours on end to learn to play the piano, operate a computer, or fly an airplane, it is sheer nonsense for us to imagine that we can learn the high art of getting guidance through communion with the Lord without being willing to set aside time for it.

A reflection on technology

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that the use of a social network site is one that allows many to keep a contact with a member of a family and with a friend. We are able to see in a way that is clear that many will use a social network site to access an item of news, and to access an item of interest. We acknowledge that much of the news that can be accessed using a social network site is done knowing that an item of news is reported almost instantaneously. We acknowledge that an item of news that is reported is one that will be commented upon by another.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that many children at this time grow up in your world where a viewing of an item of news is one that is less evident than in a time gone by. We acknowledge that many children at this time have access to a mobile phone, and many children at this time have access to a social network site, and many children at this time have access to an x box. We acknowledge that many are concerned about an effect that a technology has upon a development of a child. We acknowledge that a dependency upon a mobile phone, and a dependency upon a social network site, and a dependency upon the use of an x box  is one that needs to be addressed.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that there are times in the life of a self when there is a need for quietness in order to pray, and in order to incur a study of your Scriptures, and in order to reflect upon a direction of a life of a self.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that all fall short in your expectation to live a life that places you first in all that is thought, and in all that is said, and in all that is done.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that in order to have a relationship with you that all must turn a back on a concern that is worldly, and a concern that is one that is not in alignment with a thought of yours. We acknowledge that much of a time of some is spent engaged with technology, and we acknowledge that much of a time of many is spent on a social network site, and we acknowledge that much of a time of many is spent on a mobile phone, and we acknowledge that much of a time of many is spent on an x box.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that all will be able to see a way forward in a way that is clear that in order to have a life that is eternal with yourself, Our Heavenly Father, that many will need to reflect carefully upon a time that is spent on a social network site, and many will need to reflect carefully upon a time that is spent on a mobile phone, and many will need to reflect carefully upon a time that is spent on an x box, and many will need to reflect carefully upon a time that is spent on a computer, and many will need to reflect carefully upon a time that is spent on an i pad.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to yourself, Our Heavenly Father, all that has been said in the name of yourself, Our Heavenly Father, who together with your son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and your Holy Spirit, reigns on most high, and sitteth at the right side of you, Our Heavenly Father, now and always, for evermore.
