A reflection on being healthy

Reflections for the day

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your bodies.

1 Corinthians 10:31

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

3 John 1:2

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

The word of God is the food by which prayer is nourished and made strong.”  E. M. Bounds

A reflection on being healthy

Heavenly Father,

Thou art Our Heavenly Father, who is loving and thou art Our Heavenly Father, who is compassionate. We acknowledge that many are able to express a love for thou, and we acknowledge that thou love that is expressed for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and we acknowledge that thou love that thou hath for all of Mankind is one that endures, and we acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that is eternal. We acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that is there for all of Mankind, and we acknowledge that thou love thou hath for all of Mankind is one that thou desires all of Mankind to perceive and to discern.

Heavenly Father, thou art the creator of thou world that we live in, and thou hath created all that is in thou world. Thou art Our Heavenly Father who is almighty, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is most powerful, and we praise thou for thou power, and we praise thou for thou mightiness. Thou art Our Heavenly Father, who knows all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father, who sees all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father, who is in possession of all thou facts.

Heavenly Father, thou sent thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, into thou world in order to redeem all of Mankind from all sins, and in order to show all of Mankind thou way to thou. We acknowledge that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, was obedient to thou always. We acknowledge that thou desire is for a self to emulate thou life of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of eating in a way that is described as healthy. We are able to see in a way that is clear that much of a food that is eaten is a food that is created by thou. We acknowledge that thou Scriptures reveal that thou desire is for all of Mankind to preserve thou food in a form that was created, and we acknowledge that thou Scriptures reveal that thou desire is for all of Mankind to prepare a food in a form that was created, and we acknowledge that thou Scriptures reveal that thou desire is for all of Mankind to consume a food in a form that was created.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that a self lives a life that can be described as one that is busy, and we acknowledge that, at times, a self has a difficulty in preserving a food in a form that was created, and we acknowledge that, at times, a self has a difficulty in preparing a food in the form that was created, and we acknowledge that, at times, a self has a difficulty in consuming a food in a form that was created. We acknowledge that, at times, there is a temptation for a self to consume a food that has been prepared by a self, and by another, in a manner, and in a way, that is excessive, and in a manner, and in a way, that is less than desirable for thouself, Our Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to care for a self in a way that can be described as physical, and we acknowledge that where there is a lack of care of a physical body, a self can be affected in a way that is spiritual. We are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is fpr all of Mankind to be at a weight that is acceptable, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that thou desire is for all of Mankind to avoid a temptation of a food that can be described as unhealthy, and a food that is unhealthy is one that is often described as a junk food, and a junk food is one that is, at times, consumed in a quantity that is unhealthy for a self.

Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide all of Mankind in a life that is one that is led daily, and we ask thou to guide a self to avoid a temptation of a food that is unhealthy, and we ask thou to guide a self to perceive, and to discern, that what another considers as an indulgence can, if consumed on a basis that is regular, be less than desirable for a health of a self.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of  Mankind to turn to thou always, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for all of Mankind to serve thou, and we acknowledge that there is a need to ensure a self remains healthy.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that there is much said in the media about what is described as healthy eating, and we acknowledge that there is much said in the media about a weight of a self. We hope and we pray that a self will reflect carefully upon an advice that is given, and we hope and we pray that a self will make the changes necessary in a life of a self to enable a self to be healthy, and we hope and we pray that a self will turn to thou for a sustenance that is one that is spiritual.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, who together with thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and thou Holy Spirit, is, and was, and always will be, the most supreme, and the most absolute power and being, that reigns over all who are of thou world that we live in, now and always, for evermore.

Amen

A reflection on self-esteem

Reflections of the day

1 Samuel 16:7

The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

1 Peter 3:3-4

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewellery or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

Oh, what a cause of thankfulness it is that we have a gracious God to go to on all occasions! Use and enjoy this privilege and you can never be miserable. Oh, what an unspeakable privilege is prayer!

Lady Maxwell

The passion side of prayer is our intimate one-on-one time with the Lord. Just the two of you; talking things over; listening to each other-telling him how much you love him. This is pure joy and it pours oil and grace on all the rest of life. Just like the intimate parts of marriage make all the rest of your life together worthwhile.

A reflection on self-esteem

Heavenly Father,

Thou art the creator of thou world and all that is in thou world, and thou hath created all things known to all of Mankind, and thou hath created all things unseen by all of Mankind. Thou hath created all of Mankind to be born with a particular appearance, and thou hath created all of Mankind to be born with a particular shape, and thou hath created all of Mankind to be born with a particular colour, and thou hath created all of Mankind to be born with a particular size. Thou hath created all of Mankind to be equal in thou eyes.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou loves each and every one of us, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that is all encompassing, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that enables all of Mankind to love thou with all of a heart, and to love thou with all of a soul, and to love thou with all of a mind, and to love thou with all of a strength. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that cannot be bound by words, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that cannot be bound by time, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that cannot be bound by energy. We acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that overspills into a relationship, and we acknowledge that thou love for all of Mankind is one that allows all of Mankind to love thou neighbour, in thou way that thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, loves us all.

Heavenly Father, thou art Our Heavenly Father that knows all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father that sees all, and thou art Our Heavenly Father who is in possession of all thou facts. We acknowledge that thou hath created a plan for each and every one of us.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of self-esteem. We are able to see in a way that is clear that there are times when some feel an inadequacy, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that there are times when some feel a dislike for a self that is of a self, and we are able to see in a way that is clear that there are times when some feel less than worthy. We acknowledge that for some a feeling of inadequacy, and a feeling of a dislike that is there for a self that is of a self, and a feeling that is felt of being less than worthy is one that remains. We acknowledge that for some an upbringing has been one that has been  less than perfect, and for a self  this has meant a feeling of a rejection, and for a self this has meant an experience of neglect, and for a self this has meant an experience of an abuse from another, and for a self this has meant an experience that has led to an addiction, and for a self an addiction is one that is of alcoholism, and for a self an addiction is one that is of a dependency for drugs.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that for a self all of these experiences are ones that are not desirable, and we acknowledge that all of these experiences are ones that have an effect on a self who experiences a feeling that is one that is less than desirable, and we acknowledge that an effect for a self who experiences a feeling of inadequacy, a feeling of a dislike that is there for a self that is of a self, and a feeling that is felt of being less than worthy, and a feeling of rejection, is one that is of a depression, and an effect for a self is one that can, at times, be of a relationship which some say is unhealthy, and the effect for a self is one that is of a dependency, and a dependency is one that can be one of alcohol, and a dependency is one that can be one of a use of a chemical substance.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we hope and we pray that all of Mankind will turn to thou, and we hope and we pray that a self is able to see a way forward in a way that is clear that a life of a self has a purpose, and that a purpose is of one to turn to thou, always.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that all of Mankind are able to see in a way that is clear that there is a love for all of Mankind by thou, and we hope and we pray that a self is able to see in a way that is clear that a love of thou is one that is worth having, and we hope and we pray that a self is able to see in a way that is clear that a love that is there for all allows a love for all others.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that what is known as a self-esteem is one that needs to be healthy, and to be healthy must be one that is one that is not based on a self-conceit but one that is based on a humility, and one that is based on a meekness, and one that is based upon a dependency on thou.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that a self  will reflect carefully upon the nature of a self-conceit, and we hope and we pray that a self will see the error of a way, and we hope and we pray that a self will say say sorry for an error of a way, and we hope and we pray that a self will make the changes in a life that are necessary, in order to show a repentance.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we acknowledge the works that are good of all who teach, and all who relate to a pupil, and all who relate to a student, in terms of managing the needs of a child, and in terms of managing the needs of a young person who has a self-esteem that is one that can be described as one that is less than desirable.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to thouself, Our Heavenly Father, all that hath been spake in thou name of thouself, Our Heavenly Father, and in thou name of thou Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is thou way, and who is thou truth, and who is thou life, and who shows all of Mankind thou way to thou, and in thou name of thou Holy Spirit, who lives within Man, and who dwells amongst Man, and who advocates for Man, now and always, for evermore.

Amen.

A reflection for the day

The purpose of prayer is to reveal the presence of God equally present, all the time, in every condition.

A reflection for the day on alcohol

Heavenly Father,

The perils of alcohol are ones that are causing a hazard to health to many at this time, and this hazard to health is one that must not be disregarded. Many are unable to see in a way that is clear that a consumption of alcohol that exceeds a moderate amount is one that will incur a change in a health for many, and is one that will incur a death for some at an age that for many is less than desirable.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we acknowledge that much of what is reported in the media about the behaviour of all is as a result of the consumption of alcohol. We are able to see in a way that is clear that in order for many to see a way forward in a way that is clear that all will need to perceive, and all will need to discern, what is described by many as a level of consumption of alcohol that is safe. We acknowledge that many accept that a consumption of alcohol in a way that is moderate is acceptable, and we acknowledge that much has been said in the media about what a moderate amount of alcohol is.

Heavenly Father, we are able to see in a way that is clear that a child must be safeguarded from a situation where the consumption of alcohol has been consumed in a way that can be described as excessive. We are able to see in a way that is clear that all children must be able to grow up in a way that is acceptable, in terms of being safeguarded from a situation where the consumption of alcohol has been consumed in a way that can be described to an excess, so that all children will feel loved, and so that all children will feel safe, and so that all children will feel a need of a child is being addressed.

Heavenly Father, we hope and we pray that a number of recommendations of this Government are effected so that the consumption of alcohol is one that can be addressed by the closure of a bar that serves a child, and by the closure of a bar that serves a young person, who is one who is described as one who is under-age, and by the closure of a bar that serves another who has drunk alcohol to an excess, and by addressing a concern that there is for a price of alcohol that is deemed to be somewhat low.

Heavenly Father, we ask you to guide all Mankind in a life that is daily, and we ask you to guide some to see a way forward in a way that is clear that all must lead a life that is fitting and is one that avoids a consumption of alcohol that is one that is to an excess, and is one that hurts another, and is one that alarms another, and is one that derides another.

Heavenly Father, we uphold to yourself, Our Heavenly Father, all that has been said in the name of yourself, Our Heavenly Father, who together with your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and your Holy Spirit, reigns on most high, and sitteth at the right side of you, Our Heavenly Father, now and always, for evermore.

Amen
