A reflection on the demise of thy children of thy nation of Syria
A reflection on the demise of thy children of thy nation of Syria
Thy Heavenly Father,
Thy presence in thy life is one that I acknowledge, and thy presence in thy life is one that I am grateful for, and thy presence in thy life is one that I desire always, and thy presence in thy life is one that do enable thyself to be at one with thou.
There are times when thou presence is one that is felt by many, and there are times when thou presence is one that is desired by many, and there are times when thou presence is one that is acknowledged by many, and there are times when thou presence is one that is, at times, questioned by many.
There will be a time in the future when thou presence will be one that will be acknowledged by many, and there will be a time in the future when thou presence will be one that will be accepted by many, and there will be a time in the future when many will turn to thou.
Many of thy people are unable to see clearly the need to be at one with thou, and many of thy people are unable to see clearly the need to be at one with each other, and many of thy people are unable to see clearly the need to be what is described as at peace with each other.
Many of thy people who are unable to see clearly the need to be at one with one another are in a situation that can be described as less than desirable. The situation that many of thy people do find themselves is one that is described as war. Those people who find themselves in a situation that is one that can be described as war are unable to see the way to thou and are unable to be at one with thou. There are times when what is described as war appears necessary, and there are times when what is described as war is unwarranted, and there are times when what is described as war seems futile.
There will be a time in the future when there will be a day of judgement, and there will be a time in the future when many will need to say sorry for the error of the way, and there will be a time in the future when many will need to make the changes necessary in order to be able to be at one with thou.
Much of what is reported in the media is of news that do sadden thyself, and much of what is reported in the media is of news that do relate to the demise of Syria, and much of what is reported in the media is of news that do relate to the plight of thy people of thy nation of Syria.
The plight of thy people of thy nation of Syria is one that do sadden thyself and the plight of thy people of thy nation of Syria is one that do sadden others. There are a number of reports in the media that do relate to thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria and the reports in the media that do relate to thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria do indicate that thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria do need to be ones who are uplifted to thou.
There will be a time in the future when the war in thy nation of Syria will be one that will be no longer and there will be a time in the future when thy people of thy nation of Syria will return to their homes. Many of thy people of thy nation of Syria will find a difficulty in seeing the way forward and many of thy people of thy nation of Syria will find a difficulty in being at one with each other. There will be a time in the future when thou Heavenly Father will be seen as a compassionate Father, and will be seen as a caring Father, and this time in the future will be one when thy people of thy nation of Syria will be at one with thou and will be at one with each other.
Thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria are children who are at this time somewhat saddened, and thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria are children who are at this time bereft of those who are near and of those who are dear, and thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria are children who are at this time unable to come to terms with recent events, and thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria are children who are at this time unable to be what is described as reunited with loved ones. Thyself do desire to uphold to thou thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria, and thyself do desire for thou to bless thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria, and thyself do desire for thou to place an opportunity before many who are given the task of caring for thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria to care for thy children of thy people of thy nation of Syria in a way that can be described as fitting.
Thy Heavenly Father, I do offer these words to thou in the name of thy Son, thy Lord Jesus Christ, and I do offer these words to thou in the way, and in the truth, and in the life, and I do offer these words to thou in the name of thy Holy Spirit, who do live within Man, who do dwell amongst Man, and who do advocate for Man, now and always, forever and a day,
Amen.
A reflection on those who have what is described as disabilities
Reflections for the day
Philippians 3:12-14
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
“If you want that splendid power in prayer, you must remain in loving, living, lasting, conscious, practical, abiding union with the Lord Jesus Christ.”
C. H. Spurgeon
A reflection on those that have what is described as disabilities
Our Heavenly Father,
We thank thou for being able to help us see clearly that those that have what is described as disabilities are able to do what is described as make a success of their lives. We are able to see that the games known as the Paralympic Games are ones that have been able to uphold the many who have made a success of their lives and we are able to see that the games known as the Paralympic Games are ones that have been able to uphold the many who have made a success of their lives in a way that has shown that many who have what is described as disabilities are ones who are able in much the same way as those that do not have disabilities to be able to do what is described as make a success of their lives. We are able to see that the games known as the Paralympic Games is one that is likely to leave what is described as a legacy for the future and what is described as a legacy for the future is one that is desired by thou.
There will be a time in the future when thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ will judge both the quick and the dead and this judgement will be for all. We are able to see that in order for us to be what is described as at one with Our Heavenly Father, and in order for us to be what is described as at one with thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and in order for us to be what is described as at one with thy Holy Spirit, we will need to do what is described as be separated from much that is worldly.
We are able to see that in order for us to be separated from much that is worldly we need to know and we need to understand what is less than desirable for thou. We are able to see that there are many references in thou Scriptures which are ones that do describe what is commonly known as a sin and we are able to see that the many references that there are in thou Scriptures are ones that do decree that there will be a separation from our dearly departed loved ones if we are unable to do what is described as be separated from much that is worldly, and a separation from our dearly departed loved ones will mean a time of sorrow and a time of despair and a time of helplessness.
We are able to see that in order for us to separate ourselves from much that is worldly we need to have courage, and we are able to see that in order for us to separate ourselves from much that is worldly we need to have determination, and we are able to see that in order for us to separate ourselves from much that is worldly we need to be able to endure. There are many who are able to see clearly that those who have disabilities and those who have been what is described as competitors of thou games known as thou Paralympic Games are those who have courage, are those who have determination and are those who are able to endure.
Heavenly Father, we desire to be thou obedient servant but know that we fall short in thou expectation, and we desire to lay down our life for thou but know we are reluctant at times, and we desire to be ready to do thou will but know we are rebellious at times. We ask thou to help us to address those areas in our life that are ones that are of a nature that is sinful, and we ask thou to help us to say sorry for what we have done, and we ask thou to help us to make the changes in our life that are necessary in order for us to be at one with thou, and we ask thou to help us to make the changes in our life that are necessary in order for us to be at one with thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and we ask thou to help us to make the changes in our life that are necessary in order for us to be at one with thy Holy Spirit.
Much of our life is one that can be described as sinful, and much of our world is one that can be described as sinful, and much of the world is one that is likely to do what is described as turn their back on thou, and many will do what is described as remain in sin. There will be a time in the future when each and every one of us will be what is described as accountable for our life and it will be at this time that we will be judged by thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. The judgement by thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ is likely to be one that will occur at a time when we leave this Earthly place and is one that is likely to be one that will separate those who are at one with thou from those who have turned their back on thou.
Heavenly Father, we desire to be at one with thou but know that we have a number of difficulties that we will need to overcome and we desire to be at one with thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ but know that we have a number of difficulties that we will need to overcome and we desire to be at one with thy Holy Spirit but know that we have a number of difficulties that we will need to overcome. There will be many who will have seen that thou competitors of thou games, known as thou Paralympic Games have done what is described as overcome a number of difficulties, and we are able to see that many have been able to succeed in what they have done, and we are able to see that many have been uplifted by thou games known as thou Paralympic Games and by thou games known as thou Olympic Games, and we are able to see that we are able to be uplifted at a time when we are at one with thou. In order for us to be uplifted in the way that we have been uplifted by thou games known as thou Paralympic Games and by thou games known as thou Olympic Games we need to draw closer to thou, and we need to place all our worries and all our concerns with thou.
Many desire to be uplifted in the way that they have been uplifted by thou games known as thou Paralympic Games and by thou games known as thou Olympic Games, and in order to be uplifted we need to leave behind much that is worldly and we need to turn to thou.
Heavenly Father, we raise these words to thou in the hope that they are acceptable, and we raise these words to thou in the name of thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the way, and who is the truth, and who is the life, and is the way to thou, and we raise these words to thou in the name of thy Holy Spirit, who lives within us, and who dwells amongst us and who advocates for us, now and always.
Amen.
A reflection on sacrifice
Reflections for the day
John 14:15-21
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever - the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
Matthew 18:1-3
At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: ”Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
“There is no other activity in life so important as that of prayer. Every other activity depends upon prayer for its best efficiency.”
M.E. Andross
A reflection on sacrifice
Our Heavenly Father,
We are thankful that thou art almighty and we are thankful that thou art most powerful, and we praise thee for thou might, and we praise thee for thou power, and we raise thou name on high to thou.
We love thou with all our heart, we love thou with all our soul, we love thou with all our mind and we love thou with all our strength, and our desire to be at one with thou.
Heavenly Father, thou sent thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ into this world to save us from all our sins. We acknowledge that thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ died upon the cross and that the death of thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross was one that can be described as one that does epitomise what can be described as sacrifice and the sacrifice is one that was one that was made for us all.
We acknowledge that thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ is at one with thou, and we acknowledge that thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is at one with thy Holy Spirit, and we acknowledge that thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ is able to be at one with us if we are able to turn our back upon the world and draw nearer to thou.
We acknowledge that in order for us to be at one with thou we need to address the areas of concern that there are in our life that cause us to turn our back on thou. There are times in our life when we are tempted, and there are times in our life when we desire things of the flesh, and there are times in our life when we are unable to see clearly the areas of concern that we need to address.
Much of what happens in our life is less than desirable, and much of what happens in our life is a cause for concern, and much of what happens in our life causes us to doubt, and much of what happens in our life means we are unable to be at one with thou.
We desire to be thou obedient servant but know we fall short in thou expectation, we desire to lay down our life for thou but know we are reluctant at times, we desire to be ready to do thou will but know we are rebellious at times. We acknowledge that in order to be at one with thou we need to lay down our life for thou and we acknowledge that in order to lay down our life for thou we need to make what many consider are sacrifices.
Much of the time we are unable to see clearly what we need to do in order to lay down our life for thou and much of the time we are unable to see clearly that the sacrifices that we need to make are ones that can be described as ones that are a desire of the flesh, and ones that can be described as ones that are of worldly possessions, and ones that can be describes as ones that are temptations of the world that we live in.
There will come a time when we will be judged for the life that we have led, and there will come a time when we will be expected to say sorry for the error of our way, and there will come a time when we will be expected to make the changes that are necessary in our life in order for us to be at one with thou.
Much of the changes that are necessary in our life are ones where we will need to make sacrifices in order for us to be at one with thou, and much of the changes that are necessary in our life are ones that will cause us to be separated from the life that we have led, and much of the changes that are necessary in our life are ones that will cause us difficulties with our loved ones.
There will come a time when we will desire to be at one with thou, and there will come a time when we will desire to be at one with thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and there will come a time when we will desire to be at one with thy Holy Spirit, and there will come a time when we will desire to be united with our loved ones that have departed for thou place known as thou Heavenly place.
There are a number of passages in thou Scriptures which are ones that describe that there will be a separation from thou Heavenly Father, a separation from thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and a separation from thy Holy Spirit, and a separation from our loved ones if we are unable to be at one with thou.
There will be a time in the future when thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ will return to this world in order to judge us and there will be a time in the future when thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ will be upheld as the Saviour and as the Redeemer of all our sins, and there will be a time in the future when many of us will see the error of our way and will say sorry for the error of our way and will repent for the error of our way.
Many of us need to be more able and many of us need to be more willing to turn to thou, and many of us need to be more able and many of us need to be more willing to turn our back on a world that does lead us astray, and many of us need to be more able and many of us need to be more willing to make the sacrifices that are needed in order for us to be at one with thou.
We desire thou do guide us in our everyday life, and we desire thou do help us to recognise the error of our way, and we desire thou help us to say sorry for the error of our way, and we desire thou do help us to draw closer to thou.
Heavenly Father, we uphold these words to thou in the name of thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the way, who is the truth, who is the life and who is the way to thou, and we uphold these words to thou in the name of thy Holy Spirit, who lives within us, who dwells amongst us and who advocates for us, now and always.
Amen.
A reflection on what is described as designer babies with reference to The Sanctity of Life
Reflections for the day
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers, pray for powers equal to your task.
Phillips Brooks
The Divine wisdom has given us prayer, not as a means whereby to obtain the good things of earth, but as a means whereby we learn to do without them; not as a means whereby we escape evil, but as a means whereby
we become strong to meet it.
Frederick William Robertson
A reflection on what is described as designer babies with reference to The Sanctity of Life
Our Heavenly Father,
Thou art a loving Father and thou art a compassionate Father and thou love each and every one of us. Thou love for us is one that is all encompassing, and thou love for us is one that is eternal, and thou love for us is one that endures. Thou love for us is one that is not bound by words, and thou love for us is one that is not bound by time, and thou love for us is one that is not bound by energy. Thou love for us is one that enables us to love thou with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind and with all our strength, and thou love for us is one that overspills into our relationships, and thou love for us is one that enables us to love thou neighbour.
Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of what is described as a design to change the makeup of Man that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Man. We are able to see that much has been said in the media about what is described as a design to change the makeup of Man that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Man and we are able to see that much has been said in the media about what is described as research into the way of making a change of one that is described as the makeup of Man that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Man. We are able to see that there are some who desire that the makeup of Man that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Man is one that should be changed in order that a characteristic of Man that is desirable is one that can be present in Man and we are able to see that there are some who desire that the makeup of Man that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Man is one that should be changed in order that a characteristic of Man that is less than desirable is one that can be omitted from Man.
Heavenly Father, we are able to see clearly that the issue of a change to the makeup of Man that is one that is described as the genetic makeup of Man which is an issue we are concerned about is one that is a concern that is one of the nature known as The Sanctity of Life.
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou art the creator of this world that we live in and we acknowledge that thou have created all things known to Man and we acknowledge that thou have created all things unseen by Man. We acknowledge that thou have created us all in thine image and that thou have created us all to be equal in thine eyes.
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that we have sinned and we acknowledge that our lives are ones that cannot be ones described as ones that are ones that are without sin, and we acknowledge that thou art one who is perfect. We acknowledge that thou have a plan for each and every one of us and we acknowledge that many of the events that happen in our lives are ones that happen for a reason and we acknowledge that all things happen in thou own good time.
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thou plan for us is one where thou have given Man the gift of a freedom of will and we acknowledge that thou desire is for Man to turn to thou, and we acknowledge that thou desire is for Man to walk a path which is straight and narrow toward thy light which is eternal. We are able to see that each and every one of us is loved and we are able to see that each and every one of us is able to turn to thou through thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ who died for us to save us from all our sins and to show us the way to thou.
Heavenly Father, we ask thou to help us to see the error of our way, we ask thou to help us to say sorry for the error of our way and we ask thou to help us to make the changes that are necessary in our lives in order for us to remain on thy path which is straight and narrow toward thy light which is eternal.
Heavenly Father, we hope and pray that our prayer is answered and we believe that all things are possible through thou if we have faith and understanding of thou. We believe that the issue is one of not upholding what is described as The Sanctity of Life and this is our concern which is one we believe can be resolved by thou placing opportunities before many to address the issue of not upholding The Sanctity of Life. The opportunities we desire thou to place are ones for many to reflect upon The Sanctity of Life and for many to see clearly that thou purpose is for each and every one of us is to be what can be described as one that has the capability of sin in order for each and every one of us to make a choice to turn to thou and to say sorry for the error of the way and to make the changes that are necessary for us to draw closer to thou. We believe that if many make the right choices to turn their back on sin then the issue of not upholding The Sanctity of Life is one that can be resolved.
Heavenly Father, we uphold these words to thou in the name of thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the way, who is the truth, and who is the life, and is the way to thou, and we uphold these words to thou in the name of thy Holy Spirit, who lives within us, who dwells amongst us, and who advocates for us, now and always.

Heavenly Father, it is at this time we reflect upon the nature of the sanctity of life. We are able to see that much has been said in the media about the difficulties that are faced by those who are described as ones who are ones who are ill in a way that is described as terminal. We are able to see that much has been said in the media about the difficulties that are faced by those who are ones who are ones who are described as ones who are ones who are ill in a way that is described as terminal when faced with what is described as a prospect of a life that some would describe is one that is not fulfilling. We are able to see that much has been said in the media about the difficulties that are faced by those who are ones who are ones who are described as ones who are ones who are ill in a way that is described as terminal when some who are described as ones who are ones who are ones who are ill in a way that is described as terminal express a desire to do what many describe as end their lives. We are able to see that much has been said in the media about the difficulties that are faced by those who are parents of children who are described as ones who are ones who are ill in a way that is described as terminal when the parents of children who are described as ones who are ones who are ill in a way that is described as terminal are on occasion faced by a decision that the parents of children who are described as ones who are ones who are ill in a way that is described as terminal are required to make about what is described as the future of the child who is ones who is one who is ill in a way that is described as terminal. A reflection on the demise of the Eurozone
Reflections for the day
Romans 5: 1-5
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we
boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
God shapes the world by prayer. The prayers of God’s saints are the capital stock of heaven by which God carries on His great work upon the earth.
[E.M. Bounds]
A reflection on the demise of the Eurozone
Our Heavenly Father,
We are thankful that thou art present and we are thankful that thou doth love us and we are thankful that thou doth care for us and we are thankful that thou art here for us to turn to.
Heavenly Father, we desire that thou nation known as thou United Kingdom, and thou nation known as Spain, and thou nation known as Italy, and thou nation known as Portugal, and thou nation known as Germany, and thou nation known as France, and thou nation known as Greece need to see clearly that thou nations need to be at one with each other. There is much said in the media about the demise of thou Eurozone and there is much said in the media about what is described as measures of austerity. We are able to see that many desire a future which is one that is not constrained by what is described as measures of austerity and we are able to see that many desire a future where there is no longer an issue and where there is no longer a fear of what is described as a loss of jobs.
Heavenly Father, there are times when many of us desire that our jobs are ones that are secure and there are times when many of us desire that what is described as our expenditure is one that does not exceed our income. We are able to see that what is described as the demise of thou Eurozone is one that does cause a feeling of despair amongst thou people and we are able to see that many of thou people are unable to see their way forward clearly.
Heavenly Father, we desire for thou to place opportunities before many to enable them to see their way forward clearly and we desire for thou to place opportunities before many to enable them to have the will to endure what is necessary and we ask thou to place these opportunities before all nations who are deemed to be ones who are part of thou Eurozone, and we ask thou to place these opportunities before thou nation known as thou United Kingdom, and we ask thou to place these opportunities before thou nation known as thou United States of America, and we ask thou to place these opportunities before thou nation known as China, and we ask thou to place these opportunities before thou nation known as Japan, and we ask thou to place these opportunities before thou nations known as thou Southern Americas, and we ask thou to place these opportunities before thou nation known as Russia.
Heavenly Father, we are able to see that there are many nations that have been affected by the demise of thou Eurozone and we are able to see that there are many nations who feel the need to implement what is described as a measure of austerity and we are able to see that there are many who feel that what is described as measures of austerity are ones that are a little harsh and are ones that many are unable to come to terms with.
Heavenly Father, we desire that thou nations are able to come to terms with a future where much spending is one that has to be curbed and we desire that many are able to come to terms with a future where many will have to forego what others might describe as the luxuries of life and we desire that many are able to come to terms with a future where some might incur a loss of a job or where some might incur a loss of a home.
Heavenly Father, there are times when many of us have feelings which can be described as feelings of angst, and there are times when many of us have feelings which can be described as feelings of ill will toward another, and there are times when many of us have feelings which can be described as feelings of hate toward another, and there are times when many of us have feelings which can be described as feelings of anxiety about what the future might hold.
Heavenly Father, we hope and pray that many will turn toward thou, and we hope and pray that many will place their worries and concerns with thou, and we hope and pray that many will draw closer to thou, and we hope and pray that many will be able to make the changes in their lives that are necessary.
Heavenly Father, we uphold to thou these words in the name of thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the way, who is the truth, and who is the life, and who is the way to thou and we uphold to thou these words in the name of thy Holy Spirit who lives amongst us, who dwells amongst us and who advocates for us, now and always.
Amen.
A response to a prayer on recent times in Syria
Heavenly Father,
We are aware that nations in the Middle East have been acting against regimes that are dictatorial. Some have managed to achieve democracy and at a price, yet, they have achieved much. Peoples in Syria are noting this and fighting for liberation from tyranny so that their children might grow up in peace. We ask for your intervention in these matters so that politicians can make the correct decisions to bring an end to the misery that this conflict is making.
Amen

Ephesians 4:4-6
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called ; one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
“Time spent alone with God is not wasted. It changes us; it changes our surroundings; and every Christian who would live the life that counts, and who would have power for service must take time to pray.”

A reflection on the Olympic Games (ethos)
Our Heavenly Father,
Thou art a loving Father and thou art a compassionate Father and thou sent thy only Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ into this world to save us from all our sins and to show us the way to thou.
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thy Scriptures have revealed that thy apostle St Paul wrote a number of letters and thy apostle St Paul wrote a number of letters to thou churches and the letters that thy apostle St Paul wrote are ones that are described as ones that instruct thou churches on the behaviour of thou people of thou churches.
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that thy apostle St Paul was a man that was guided by thou and we acknowledge that thy apostle St Paul was a man who desired for thou people of thou churches to draw closer to thou. We are able to see that thy apostle St Paul revealed to thou people of thou churches that thou desire was for thou people to be humble, and we are able to see that thy apostle St Paul revealed to thou people of thou churches that thou desire was for thou people to be gentle, and we are able to see that thy apostle St Paul revealed to thou people of thou churches that thou desire was for thou people to be patient and we are able to see that thy apostle St Paul revealed to thou people of thou churches that thou desire was for thou people to be forgiving and we are able to see that thy apostle St Paul revealed to thou people of thou churches that thou desire was for thou people to have what is described as integrity, and we are able to see that thy apostle St Paul revealed to thou people of thou churches that thou desire was for thou people to be ones who serve thou, and we are able to see that thy apostle St Paul revealed to thou people of thou churches that thou desire was for thou people to be ones who bear the burden of another, and we are able to see that thy apostle St Paul revealed to thou people of thou churches that thou desire was for thou people to love thou and to love each other.
Heavenly Father, it is at this time we uphold to thou the good works of thy Games known as thou Olympic Games. We desire to acknowledge the good works of thou team known as the Great Britain Male Gymnastic Team and we uphold to thou their good works of humility, and we uphold to thou their good works of patience and we uphold to thou their good works of service and we uphold to thou their good works of bearing the burden of another.
Heavenly Father, it is at this time we uphold to thou the good works of those people who have volunteered what is described as their service for the Games known as the Olympic Games, and the service that thou people have volunteered is one that enables what is described as the running of thou Games, known as thou Olympic Games, to be one that can be described as one that is smooth and is one that can be described as one that is without trouble. We are able to see that many have worked what can be described as hours that are long and we are able to see that many have worked what can be described as hours that are long in a way that can be described as with a heart that can be described as glad.
Heavenly Father, we uphold to thou all those who can be described as competitors of thou Games, known as thou Olympic Games. We uphold to thou all those who can be described as competitors of thou Games, known as thou Olympic Games, who can be described as ones who compete in a way that can be described as one that is without discrimination of another, and we uphold to thou all those who can be described as competitors of thou Games, known as thou Olympic Games, who can be described as ones who compete in a way that can be described as one that is one that shows what can be described as an understanding that is mutual of another, and we uphold to thou all those who can be described as competitors of thou Games, known as thou Olympic Games, who can be described as ones who compete in a way that can be described as one that is one that shows friendship of another, and we uphold to thou all those who can be described as competitors of thou Games, known as thou Olympic Games, who can be described as ones who compete in a way that can be described as one that shows what is commonly known as fair play.
Heavenly Father, we ask thou to place opportunities before all who are described as competitors of thou Games known as thou Olympic Games to be able to see clearly the need to be one that is humble, and to be able to see clearly the need to be one that is patient, and to be able to see clearly the need to be one that is forgiving, and to be able to see clearly the need to be one that has integrity, and to be able to see clearly the need to be one that can demonstrate a service to another, and to be able to see clearly the need to be one that can bear the burden of another, and to be able to see clearly the need to love one another. We desire thou to place opportunities before many to draw closer to thou and to love thou, always.
Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide us in our everyday life, we ask thou to help us to say sorry for the error of our ways, we ask thou to help us to make the changes in our life that are necessary and we ask thou to help us to draw closer to thou.
Heavenly Father, we offer up to thou these words in the hope that they are acceptable and we offer up to thou these words in the name of thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ who is the way, who is the truth and who is the life and is the way to thou, and we offer up to thou these words in the name of thy Holy Spirit who lives within us, who dwells amongst us and who advocates for us, now and always.

A reflection on the Olympic Games
Reflections of the day
1 Corinthians 9:25-27
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
There is no other activity in life so important as that of prayer. Every other activity depends upon prayer for its best efficiency.”

A reflection on the Olympic Games
Our Heavenly Father,
We thank thou for being with us always. We acknowledge thou as the creator of this world that we live in and we acknowledge thou as the creator of all things known to Man and we acknowledge thou as the creator of all things unseen by Man. We acknowledge that thou created us all in thy image and we acknowledge that thou created us all to be equal in thine eyes.
Heavenly Father, it is at this time we desire to uphold to thou thy Games which are known as thy Olympic Games. We desire to uphold to thou the good works of the committee of thy Games known as thy Olympic Games, and we desire to uphold to thou the good works of many who are described as the trainers of ones who are described as athletes who compete in thy Games known as thy Olympic Games and we desire to uphold to thou the good works of thy athletes of thy Games known as thy Olympic Games and we desire to uphold to thou the good works of thy athletes of thy Games known as thy Paralympic Games and we desire to uphold to thou the good works of all those who have volunteered to support thy Games known as thy Olympic Games.
Heavenly Father, we ask thou to bless thy Games known as thy Olympic Games and it is at this time we ask thou to place opportunities before many to reflect upon the need to be what is described as one who is sportsman-like in all that one thinks, in all that one says and in all that one does.
Heavenly Father, we are able to see that many of those who are described as athletes are ones who have what is described as an ability to persevere and that this ability to persevere is one that is seen in the way thy athletes train and we are able to see that many of those who are described as athletes are ones who have what is described as a control which is known by many as self-control and this self-control is one which is one that is seen in all that is done, and we are able to see that many of those who are described as athletes are ones who have what is described as an ability to endure and this ability to endure is one that enables thy athletes to be ones who are able to be what is described as successful in what is done.
Heavenly Father, we are able to see that thou desire for us is to be at one with thou and we are able to see that in order for us to be at one with thou we need to have what is described as an ability to persevere, and we are able to see that in order for us to be at one with thou we need to have what is described as an ability to have self-control and we are able to see that in order for us to be at one with thou we need to have what is described as an ability to endure. We are able to see that in order for us to be at one with thou we need to remain on thy path which is straight and narrow toward thy eternal light and in order for us to remain on thy path which is straight and narrow toward thy eternal light we need to put aside what is described as worldly and in order to put aside what is worldly we need to have what is described as an ability to persevere, and in order to put aside what is worldly we need to have what is described as an ability to have self-control and in order to put aside what is described as worldly we need to have what is described as an ability to endure.
Heavenly Father, we are able to see that a life with thou is one that is eternal and we are able to see that a life with thou that is one that is eternal means we need to be focused on thou always and not on ourselves.
Heavenly Father, we ask thou to guide us in our daily life, and we ask thou to help us to turn to thou always.
Heavenly Father, we offer up to thou these words in the hope that they are acceptable, and we offer up to thou these words in the name of thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the way, who is the truth and who is the life and is the way to thou, and we offer up to thou these words in the name of thy Holy Spirit, who lives within us, who dwells amongst us and who advocates for us, now and always.
Amen.
